who said that? The east coast, especially NC and new jersey get awesome surf, i live in florida and we still get good surf occasionally..and in the summer with all the hurricanes it gets amazing out here, just check out some vids

Where abouts in Florida ? My Parents live in Sarasota. I'm stuck here in Western NY .

I head down to the Banks at least once a year. Theres always great surf during the 2 weeks that I'm down there. My bodyboarding needs a little work. My 360's

suck. I try to work on them in Florida, But the Gulf waves are inconsistant. My sister lives on the Southshore of Massachussets and they get some good surf their to. I'll be their in a week.

the boiler is a spot bout 5-7 miles north of rodanthe NC, you can see the boiler from a sunken ship offshore hence the name. mirlo is def also obx but cant remember where

I go to Duck NC every August and the surf is always up somewhere on the OBX. I actually went down for 4 days in April, and rented a wetsuit. Lol Getting my board out of my Aunts cottage was a different story all together. Had some decent waist to chest high clean fun waves those four days. Even went to Hatterous for one of them. Now I won't see waves until August. I live in Western NY. Lake Ontario waves this time of year are nill to nothing.
