I wish I was still on stock gears rather then the 3.73's I am on now. Stock gears would keep me in my power band a lot longer and would be less shock to the tires with less shifts. Right now the car is quicker with 50hp less then it was then due to me knowing the car better now then at the time of this vid.

Yeah Now it does. I was still shifting early. After a new tune it would of ripped apart that vette.

Wow I watch that vid and wonder why I posted it. I had run out of fuel at 5500rpm's and had to shift early! Crazy what another 1k in rpm's does! I would of killed the vette with the new trans and the better tune. The car has now but down 653rwhp and 590tq.

ya it is. the difference in shifting at 5400 rpm's and 5800 RPMs in my 3v adds up to an extra 11 mph by the top of third. it's kinda silly rather.

You have 302 strokered engine and running only 10 psi! go 15 psi and see the differents!

I would but he would get me. I am looking at being in the lo 11's high 10's at the end of the season and he should be in the low 10's high 9's. I have no chance.

Now the car should be doing better soon, new trans and returnless fuel setup going on now. At the time of the vid 3rd was screwed up and the shifting early on every shift didnot help much. I will put up vids this next season at the track.

The Mustang has a built VT stroker motor, cams and a D1SC Procharger. The Corvette was running simple bolt-on's and a 125 shot of nitrous.

The Mustang wasnt that fast for all the work it had. LOL

Nice job man!! Get a Water/Meth kit on your setup and you will be all set..

Probably a 300cc nozzle will be perfect.. Install it 6inches from the throttle body!

It put down 570 at that time, it is back in for a retune with a mafia and 60's in it. shooting for 650rwhp.
