I am concerned about the title as well. I am not concerned by the dance, but there is one word in the title that is kind of a trigger word for me: Professional. This is saying that this man in the video is a professional worshipper, in comparison to a professional athlete or singer. Sure wish we could of danced around like that in church. Was in the children's choir. I also remember sitting in church listening to the pastor give the Sunday sermon. It was grueling, having to sit so quiet and still for hours. Didn't seem normal to me. Almost fell asleep or my tummy would growl from hunger pangs. Mom would give me one of those nasty peppermint lifesavers to hold me over til lunch, but I'd gag it up, lol.

The term "buck dance" fits perfectly in my opinion. This reminds me of the guy who did a choreographed buck dance in front of a camera, and when he got finished performing(That's exactly what it was, a performance)he threw up his hand as if to say, "I'm through" and walked from in front of the camera. I am concerned about the title as well. I am not concerned by the dance, but there is one word in the title that is kind of a trigger word for me: Professional. This is saying that this man in the video is a professional worshipper, in comparison to a professional athlete or singer. I feel that you should remove professional from the title as this may give a bad vibe to those who may not see the dancing as worship this is just a friendly opinion from another child of christ.

Sure wish we could of danced around like that in church. Was in the children's choir. I also remember sitting in church listening to the pastor give the Sunday sermon. It was grueling, having to sit so quiet and still for hours. Didn't seem normal to me. Almost fell asleep or my tummy would growl from hunger pangs. Mom would give me one of those nasty peppermint lifesavers to hold me over til lunch, but I'd gag it up, lol.

Agreed. I worship at a place where the women dance so hard that they come out of their clothes. They dance around these lovely, glimmering poles. Perfect praise to God is living a holy life of obedience, qhich is why Paul said in Romans 12 to present your body a living sacrifice, HOLY and acceptable. God isn't moved by these displays of the flesh. Like you said, anybody can do a dance jig. The term "buck dance" fits perfectly in my opinion. This reminds me of the guy who did a choreographed buck dance in front of a camera, and when he got finished performing(That's exactly what it was, a performance)he threw up his hand as if to say, "I'm through" and walked from in front of the camera. I think you might be able to see it on Youtube if you type in the search, "unforgetable shout." You'll see the similarities between these two "dancers"
