Installing swype on the HTC Incredible droid phone

Dont bother with this. Just go to beta swype .com and register with the site and you'll be able to download it.

Ok, I have followed each and every step you have in this video and it does not work. I have swype enabled and things checked just as you I have restarted as well. I can swype and it goes through all the actions, BUT it will not input the words as I type them it still only seems to work as a normal keyboard. Any ideas?

The beta version is closed so you cannot get Swype. The Android market has SlideiT which works just like Swype. The Demo version works just fine and you also get to keep the voice search button whereas Swype does not have it. Also, the Demo version does not save words but it picks up everything that you write. Check it out. You will not even notice that its not Swype!!

@atticus324 yeah I've used that one before and I don't like it. The differences are what made me stop using that sort of entry method. Much lower accuracy than Swype has.
