If anything they shouldve let Boris Kodjoe play Malcolm Winters. I know he's not Shemar but the guy playing Malcolm now is not even right.

this was hella funny! though i don't agree with you on Phyllis, she is my girl and Nick's wavering wafting ass deserved that slap moths ago & then some. i think Michelle Stafford is awesome and with the crap Y&R has been putting on lately if they killed her off, i'd stop watching all together. as for Eddie Winslow being cast as Malcom though, you are completely on point. i'm sorry if it's superficial but part of Malcom's character was that he was a hot light skinned brother and Darius is not.

Beleive it or not, I've been peaking back and forth at Y&R since I was about 12 or 13 in the 80's, back in the Jill and Katherine wars. I was just flipping channels and seen them two going at it and said, "What the hell is this?" Didn't soaps used to make you do that back in the day? Even as recent as six months ago, If someone would had told me that Y&R would come to this, I would not had beleived it. They were doing great up until Victor left. They're screwing up their good story lines now.

Yea. Y&R is getting pretty lame now. And as far as the brick eater and forgetting he's ugly, love it, love it! :) And OMG, I really hope Jack's fiance is NOT Shelia. Its too much. They really should be two seperate entities. That casting director must had been drunk or high on something. Its a shame. Y&R was one of the few decent soaps. Jess Walton was right for Jill. Smart move then. She was pretty and bitchy like Brenda. But these new replacement characters are less beleivable now.

I think they are trying to make Malcolme edgier and darker. I am kinda looking forward to it lol. I like Shemar in terms of looks but acting wise girl u got to be honest he is not most "Emotionally indepth" character.

I think we need to give him a chance to see how he works out. He won't be a clone to Shemar Moore and while I liked Malcolm, he was not the best acted character. best looking and sexy - yep, but even Shemar Moore admitted he was pretty green when he started. Malcolm also was very street when he first came to town.

Let's not forget that Shemar Moore had cornrows the last time he was on the soap so his character is supposed to be a little "rough around the edges".
