@AljoeTheCack You recruit people who are Martial artists. If you look at the black list, you'll see that the different people on the blacklist have certain skills like "car theif" or "lock pick" or "pick pocket" anyone who has a skill that says "martial artist" will teach you a new move (for a small fee) every time you call him or her up to go places with you. The catch is that you still need to level up a bit before they can teach you new moves.

If you can give me some tips I'd be most appreciative! (I bought the game in Japan and can't read all of the instructions!)

@ParappatheRapper Melvin has the strongest attack in this game. The Reaper, simply press left,right square. but it block-able.
