Of course the government will try to put forward the "Good news" but it's ludicrous to say the Obama admin is equal to Bushes. That administration was far more deceptive. Having a butt and and forging military intelligence to start a war are not the same.

When I was young and growing it was the USSR that was help up as an example of state-sponsopred propoganda (lying to its public) and I can remember thinking 'those poor russians' and 'how terrible' it was that they had no access to "real" news and 'thank goodness' I lived in the United States, home of Woodward & Bernstein (woodstein), where truth in journalism stood proudly as the 4th estate. Now that was some piece of propoganda itself, which I internalized and held to be true for a long time
