Well u can't tell from this video, but i'm BSL! You can get braids just don't get small ones!!!! Get braids the size of a pencil at least!!!! It needs to be easy to get out and easy to moisturize! I won't know for sure until my next wash, but when I stretched my hair it was still past BSL so it has retained the length from what I can see.
20 WEEKS AGO!!!!!! I have never been past like 9-10 wks! This is crazy! I will see if I can hold out till January, but I am going to Disney for Christmas, so we'll see!
YES GOOD DECISION!!!! thats exactly how my hair broke off after i worked so hard to get to APL. the african braiders did NOT want to braid down to the ends of my hair (claimed it was too long) even though i purposely bought 20" hair! and the exposed ends dried out and broke off despite my best efforts.
i'm taking out my braids right now...i've had them in for 5 months...lol

I was going to get braids like the ones in this video but would u recomend this for a person with APL length hair?
And how long did it take?

TY! I just feel like my ends were are dry crunchy mess!! I have not been growing my hair for almost 3 years to get it all messed up now!
