and fucking Koreans are eating up our islands just 2 build their huge tanker SHip building structures without regards to environmental concerns & Philippine Laws. they just fucking build build & build with reckless abandon... while the poor pinoy workers on these factories are paid slave wages....SUCH A SAD STATE FOR US STILL TODAY..
@marumito that's the reality dude, we have to accept that as of now, we cannot afford to put up industries like these by our own. We must be thankful for these giant companies, who put up business of shipbuilding in our country. It's a big help to lessen the unemployment problem. Our attitude are far different from Koreans or even to Chinese. We don't have those quality attitude.
@ELMARTHCHANGE2011 --- it's not us simple lay people who's at fault here, it's our damn Corrupt Government. If you remember, in the post WW2 era our Country was among the top 2 in terms of development & technological advance in Asia. We Have the CAN DO attitude ever since. It was just hampered by Greedy Foreign investors & Corrupt Govt. manipulations that's why 90% of investments in our country is owned by Foreigners! you know why? because we let them & were too damn Nice! mag isip2x namn tayo!
@marumito So don't put hatred to those giant companies who are planting business to our land ike shipbuilding bcoz they are the cushion to our poverty. We can't stand by our own bcoz our goverment our people is not ready for change, we have talent, knowledge, professionals but immature enough to adapt the real quality of people to progress.More than half of our population are idle, i mean not productive.
@ELMARTHCHANGE2011 -- If we keep on thinking we can't do it by ourselves then, There Really is NO HOPE for Philippines... there are alot of Good Pilipinos in our country who have the skills to compete with the Koreans, Chinese or Japs we just need to have the Will & dedication...
@marumito yes we have many talented kababayans, they are scientist in fact we have many professionals that can compete Globally. What i mean is we don't have that quality of attitude like of those Koreans, Japanese,Chinese or even Malaysians are. Don't blame a government, bcoz the government is the People itself. If people don,t change the nation will not change. In order to progress let's have all change first to ourselves.Every kind of government is good, if the people are mature enough to adapt
@marumito We have to accept that as of now we are not mature enough to proceed progress. If you are an OFW you can compare the big difference between our country and them. That's why i told you that we don't have that kind of quality like Koreans and Japanese etc. that can propel our nation to progress.Aside from corrupt system from our government officials, many Filipinos are lazy, they are contented only what they have in life.Being Lazy is one of the simplest factor of poverty.

damn! I can't believe that the technology, know-how & manpower to build these kind of ships with total Pinoy ingenuity, But Yet OUR COUNTRY CONTINUES TO SUFFER FROM TECHNOLOGICAL BACKWARDNESS, LACK OF FUNDING FOR R&D, HIGH OIL PRICES & CORRUPT SYSTEM OF GOVERNANCE. I just wonder who are the Elite Few that benefits from this Fiasco of an oil tanker? i bet they rake in billions in revenue while the local population suffers from backbreaking poverty....
Proud to be part of the first ever Filipino designed and built double hull oil tanker complying the international rule requirements...Sailout: April 26, 2008, 13knots average at 85%mcr.

We were able to take-off and land successfully on the double hull oil tanker even at 13 knots speed plus air turbulence and so little space.
