People need to stop worrying about a horse and other "inhumane videos" and start worrying about them selves.... Honestly your probably worse than a horse that stumbled and GOT BACK UP. I bet the shoes you wear are leather... "100% cow" which suffered slaughter so you could look good for that business meeting... Or The eggs you eat in the morning... Unborn baby chicks. This is amazing! What a good horse and rider. I agree with bridled, horses do enjoy disciplines of riding. I am not saying a horse will love every discipline, and some would rather not be worked, but most horses do enjoy at least one discipline. I know my horse loves to jump the most.

this is amazing, i agree, i dont think its cruel or anything, but if it was me i would not continue because im so scared if the horse gets hurt, i know horses can handle much, but its just me, haha, that is why i dont ride like this anymore, just jumping :) ( im from norway, so im not so good at writig english, btw)

That's some riding mate, back in the saddle and on with the show! Also if anyone is in any doubt of this horses ability or enthausiasm, it could have just let her fall off and it could get her off anytime it wanted but it seemed like it really wanted to get going again.

fantastic save, i saw an even more amazing one, a girl jumped down a 2* drop into the water but was pulled forward, her right leg was flung over to the left side of the saddle, all with the left foot barely hanging on, and then jumped out of the water just as she managed to pull herself back over, no clue how she did it...

People who have said that its cruel or mean for the horses etcc.... need to shut up and learn some things! The horse CLEARLY loves to jump and do right for its rider. Most horses would have recovered from the fall and gone straight past the jump, and not have bothered to jump it with the seat she had at that time!,, and if you watch the clip she doesnt kick or use the whip after he stumbles, but he goes himself and yet jumps it with his hears pricked forwards!

@Snooch1984 I happen to event but I'm not in denial of what you suggest. Of course, asking a horse to jump is a selfish human pursuit. Of course, horses don't naturally choose to do these sports, we do. I can recognize that and realize that that's why riders have to commit to being empathetic, careful, and dedicated to giving their horse a high standard of care/quality of life. They let us do this...so we have to be gracious and respect them in return. Done right, horses enjoy this stuff.

@Snooch1984 There is not enough land in England to let horses run around fields, even new forest ponies have human intervention.These horses were bred for the pleasure of humans, whether they were bred to event or not and if eventing didn't exist they would not exist. Their riders commit to giving them the best possible quality of life and believe it or not a lot of these horse do love cross country and if the horse doesn't want to do it then their riders can't do much to make them do it.
