  • I wonder if the Benetton cars of the early/mid 90s really suited Michael's style, becuase as we know his Ferrari's were literally tailor made for him, for his tail happy style. I hope the 2012 Merc is good because without a care designed around him he's really struggling, although he is getting better slowly

  • I wish he'd have stayed with ferrari, its a great car on the straights, and shumi is perfect on corners. PERFECT HARMONY.

  • damn he's fast

  • OMG

    this is FORMULA 1

  • @ldv1996 whats did you think it was then?

  • beautiful sound of a V10

  • Unbeliveable lap, every corner made perfectly, awesome.

  • I have never seen this track before, but I know every single corner in Suzuka.

    Thanks, Gran Turismo!

  • vogliamo i motori a dieci cilindri per piacere...

  • Hamilton is the best

  • @kwizera1992 I'm sorry but Hamilton can't drive on the limit as Schumi does on this lap.

  • the best f1 driver ever!!!

  • @MrVelisarios1 Senna ever!!!

  • One of the most hardcore tracks on the F1 calender! ;)

  • I would like to see the G-force on 1:18

  • 0:40-Fly?

  • I liked this video.

  • Wanker below!

  • Sounds unreal!

  • @DrDavidStHubbins

You are unreal. The sound of F2001 is truelly real.

  • @SFAydogdu66

When he says "sounds unreal" he means "it sounds amazing." He is saying that it sounds so good, it is hard to believe it is real. It is a positive statement - I suspect the language barrier has gotten in the way here.

  • the best dayz of f1 were back then shue was unbeatable

  • @786786harry Those were the most boring f-1 days. Best days were when Shumi was fighting with Hakkinen and Alonso. Well that was interesting.

  • 2 people are X1 fanboys

  • I wonder just how much practice it takes to do what Schumacher can. From everything I've researched he takes absolutely nothing to chance. All the time, it's practice, practice, test, test, until he has all the necessary data to win. I want that kind of preparedness.

  • Blah, blah, blah. A long come a Colombian boy and in his ROKIE SEASON and FIRST TIME AT SUZUKA and with less, experience, minus development car and NOT privelege like MS,AND after all that,as if we can called "that",he JPM still produced a blasting lap as that one. So some blinkreds overlook those importand points, how evident it´s that they vast mayority of are blindfolded by Schumaker propaganda.

  • Great Technical driver but can't compare to the raw and spectacular style of Senna

  • good video, this is the last year F1 raced at suzuka with the original chicane and the 130R corner actually 130 degrees radius, took that flat!

  • genius.

  • SIMPLY PERFECT!!!! I'M JEALOUS!!! BUT!!! I'M SO PROUD OF YOU MY FRIEND!!!! OE OE OE OE!!! SHUMACHER SHUMACHER!!!! I'M SO PROUD OF YOU MY FRIEND!!!! OE OE OE OE!!! SHUMACHER SHUMACHER!!!! I'M SO PROUD OF YOU MY FRIEND!!!! OE OE OE OE!!! SHUMACHER SHUMACHER!!!! I'M SO PROUD OF YOU MY FRIEND!!!! OE OE OE OE!!! SHUMACHER SHUMACHER!!!! SHUMACHER RULES!!!!...GOD BLESS YOU MY FRIEND!!! FROM COSTA RICA PEACE AND LOVE FOREVER!!!
  • encroyable

    allez schumacher!!!

  • he's dead...Barrichello better than schumy now!

    shame on you,michael...go away,leave F1!

  • i miss this F1, v10 engine, good drivers, nice cars and even when you see his laptime its better cause the blue namebar reminds me of the good years back around late 90 to early 2000's

  • AMAZING SOUND!!! miss v10

  • @mlnmrttm weren't they still running V12s at the time?

  • @aceflyer89 v10...i rembember v12 were before

  • @mlnmrttm Alright, I'll go with that lol I just remember hearing the guys talking about the pilots and how good their V12s were but that was a while back.

  • @aceflyer89 v12 were better than v10...the sound was amazing...the best was ferrari 412t

    watch?v=aBXUOomynxw

  • @mlnmrttm I don't mind the v10s it's just that when I think of a V10, my mind drifts to a Dodge Viper and that ugly V10 (that sounds like a V8 engine inducting sulfur hexaflouride). Meh, they probably do sound better at 20 000 rpm :P

  • @aceflyer89 f1 is unique! u can't copy that sound...it's something special, something I can't describe! I go every year @ Monza...but now f1 cars r v8...the sound is too deep, i dont like it...

viper's a fantastic car, but sounds like a truck...german cars like bmw sounds better (m3,m6 etc...) but Ferrari "plays" the best "music"!!!

  • @aceflyer89 It would be better if you try to think about a Carrera GT's engine, that's the real sound of a V10.

  • @SiulF1 I'll think about the car, not its engine though. I don't know, I just don't like the sound of a V10. The look of it is nice but it's either a hemi V8 or V12. I can't really deal with a V10

  • one of the best tracks ever

  • Love him or hate him, his concentration is second to none!

  • I love onboard pole position lap vids!

  • master of suzuka...

  • It's so amazing how clearly MS can tell exactly where the limit of traction is. Through every corner you can see him reacting to tiny bouts of oversteer by correcting them with the slightest dab of opposite lock. Keeping the car teetering on the edge of grip throughout the entire lap. I, for one, am REALLY looking forward to seeing him in that Mercedes GP car in 2010.

  • @danthemanpatrick He likes that though. He wants the car to be twitchy at the tail end. That's why he hasn't done well so far in 2010. Or one of the reasons, anyways.

  • @raymondu99 Yeah, I agree. I've heard that his car this year is really understeery. Such a shame. Hopefully that new chassis he's reportedly getting for Barcelona this weekend will handle more to his liking.

  • @danthemanpatrick We'll see soon enough though. Can't wait to see :) The car suits Jenson Button/Nico Rosberg more, which is a rarity as not many other drivers can drive the same setup as them. They're very weird in their demands. LOL

  • @raymondu99 Yes, I think the fact that MS prefers a car that oversteers speaks to just what a huge talent he is. I would think a car that understeers is probably a much more forgiving car to drive at the limit. Since understeer doesn't rapidly change the direction the car is facing like oversteer. Also, let's not forget that we're talking about Formula 1 oversteer. There's probably no car in the world that snaps into oversteer faster than F1 cars.

  • @danthemanpatrick yer there is a dif youtube vid of MS and how he is dif to ather F1 drivers they shows his breaking throttle work and steering and he reacts faster and more acuretly then the ather F1 drivers and its not like there not good at it lol and im not that fond of MS but im not gona say he isent as good as everyone says coz he is very very good

  • @danthemanpatrick Is dissappointed an understatement considering he is actuaaly shit

  • @Adam060198 only two things to support your statement, jerez '97 and monaco '06, not enough to justify it

  • @danthemanpatrick Is dissappointed an understatement considering he is actuaal

  • @Adam060198 and thats why he's won... how many championships?

  • @danthemanpatrick

it is the Traction Control0 in his car who says where the limit of traction is

  • @xpandia Well said. I must say I'm very happy that there's no more TC in F1. If you're good enough to drive in F1, you should be more than good enough to keep the car on the track without a computer helping you.

  • @danthemanpatrick lol limit of traction under acceleration eh? can't you hear the TCS constantly refining and trimming the throttle plate positions on throttle? if you want real control with precise power oversteer watch Senna, Prost, both Villeneuves, Hunt, or the classic onboard of Depailler at Montreal in the wet.. I liked Schumacher I am just saying, he's good but so are tons of others that didn't have the pinnacle technology and cars that Michael had in the entire last half of his F1

  • @patman1237 point taken. Glad to see traction control gone from F1.

  • @danthemanpatrick Unfortunately the Mercedes doesn't oversteer...

  • I hate Schumacher, but that was total comitment the whole lap!

  • increible

  • Great lap.
