  • Glad you the hamhock old style, mamma or grandma taught you right! I saw these other ones on You Tube and they are talking about olive oil and even a sistah using a "turkey leg". That ain't the way my mamma, grandma and great aunt did it. Thank you!

  • @DocB3Fuzz The ole school way is also contributing to our elders and their high blood pressure, etc....smoked turkey is a good and healthier substitute.  Just because mama and granny cooked with ham hock doesn't mean you have to... btw olive oil is healthy for the heart lol
