  • Thank you so much! I was clueless until i watched your videos!

  • How do you compile?

  • plz make a tutorail with faces.. o.o ur rlly good. but i need help on faces. all the ones i see suck. ur the only tutorial thati found understandable and good 8D

  • @bbbmx1 Hi do you mean human faces? Well there's another guy who's got a kick ass technique, he's using Maya though, but the technique is applicable for the Human Face. You can search for on youtube called "Modeling a human head in 3D with great edge flow. tutorial", the guy's youtube name is "squirc"

You should also google seanjmacisaac, he's got some brilliant techniques for sculpting the human face.

  • @weeliano yeah XD human faces o.o and i looked up that guy. confusing. can u make one plz o.o ur epic :D

  • @weeliano well its less of a face. i just think learning faces can help advance. iwas trying to make a spartan (from halo) charicter for my game. coz i cant seem to download him. ive got level design. but blender is 2 hard for me V_V ive used it forl ike. 4 days D:

  • @bbbmx1 4 Days is way to short mate, :), if you want to go far, I suggest you use blender for a little while longer, get familiar with the tools. The foundation is very important. Build simple stuff like chairs or square tables first. Then slowly move on to the tough organic subjects. You will need at lest 3 months of daily usage of at least 15 minutes a day to reach intermediate level. You can start by watching my other videos first ;-). Keep on Blendering!

  • @weeliano oh thank you :D. and ima watch aaalll ur videos :3

  • Fantastic tutorial 5/5 :)

  • Nice video man!! Really good! But a tip, add text to the video when using shortcuts such as Ctrl + R etc, it becomed more clear then (not that i had problems hearing you).

  • @Zorobay Thanks man! All my future tutorials will feature on screen short cuts. You can see it in my other tutorials on Blender. Thanks for watching!

  • @weeliano Nice! Can you please help me with something? I found another tutorial which is good but at 2:48 i dont understand a thing of what he sais. Maybe you can help me understand? Like interprent what he sais. I cannot link the video in this comment thanks to youtube but it's called "character modeling part 2" by hamsterhill.

    TY for your help!

  • @Zorobay I believe he said, press "Ctrl + M" (mirror function) and then press X (out of x, y or z axis) to mirror flip the model, so that you can see the vertices on the other side. He's got a strong AnZac accent.

  • Nice video man!! Really good! But a tip, add text to the video when using shortcuts such as Ctrl + R etc, it becomed more clear then (not that i had problems hearing you).

  • You're most welcome! I'm happy that my humble tutorial has helped you. Will try to come out with more.

  • The pacing was excellent. You didn't take forever, but actually just showed us how to make this object. Thank you and very well done!

  • Glad you liked it! Thanks for your kind comments!

  • This is great!

  • Thank you SO much!

I'm starting with blender and let me say, these are among the best modelling's tutorials because of the ratio notions/time!

would be a pleasure to see other tutorials!

  • @Baxtrah You're most welcome! I hope to create more tutorials in the future and especially with the new Blender 2.5. Thanks for your kind comments!

  • Have you considered making a game in blender? I am an epic noob (have been thinking about it but literally just started bleneder after watching this video) but i think it would be really cool to make a game. I don't quite understand it but your very talented. I think a game you make would be better then other blender games ive seen on youtube.

  • Thank you for your compliments you are too kind! Actually, my students are making a Blender game. You can be just as good or even better than me, just don't stop learning and keep playing with Blender, I was a noob before too! I'm more of a Modeler and Animator. I will try game creation once I figured out the Blender game tools.

  • thanxs alot man

    this really helped me alot

    thanxs again

  • you're most welcome dude!

  • Glad you liked it and thanks for watching and rating!

  • let say i wanna go back the subsurf. option later after Apply. is there any way ?

and btw very good your tuto. i already did the Rate, im trying to make Mario Bros hat too and now i can apply some of your fine ideas of modeling thanks and bring more tutos. for newbies like me !

  • Hi, I'd recommend that you duplicate your base model first as a backup before applying the Subsurf modifier, because once you apply it's permanent. I'm glad the tutorial worked for you, do check out my other Blender tutorials.

    Cheers!

    Weelian
