IMO, it does appear that wear & tear and age have finally started to take a toll on Dave's appearance, but really only within the last 7 or 8 years or so. He still looked very handsome during the Ultra record with that 'Goth' look...Even after he'd put himself through hell 10 times over as a heroin addict and nearly died during and just after the Devotional Tour. He still looks good, though his face appears aged and weathered. I suppose years of non stop partying will eventually catch up w/ you.
