After much watching over and over and over and even having the NWS look this video over. In this video I have captured a small and weak but visible tornado at 2:21 in this video. Look really closely, it looks like a rain shaft but it has an 's' shape to it which possibly is a tornado, small but its there.
Well I nearly crashed into his car two times due to the amoung of dust in the air from the gravel road. darn close to rear ending until i swerved towards the ditch haha..
But thanks for the comments. Craig said when he was with me that I did some fantastic driving.
Jason is become a top notch chaser, I was very greatful to have him be with us on that chase. I was in the blue car in front of him. Once again, great job jason
Guess what! I saw this thing on radar yesterday, and thought to myself that the Extreme Weather Chase Team would be chasing this supercell, and sure enough you guys did. I am happy for all of you on getting all of this storm chasing footage this year!
Good catch! This must've been the same system which generated a couple of cells over SW North Dakota earlier; I video-taped one passing about 2 miles N of our house; when I get better set up w/ computing power, I'll upload this, including about 30 second funnel on the ground. Did not know about the "3/4 rule"; interesting! Thanks for posting.
That was on my birthday.

Very beautiful video. Thanks for taking the time to hold the camera steady for those long shots of lightning in the red clouds.
