  • Amazing tune. Love it!

  • Such a complete song,perfection in any time/era!!

  • truly a fantastic power pop gem...thanks for putting this up

  • ABSOLUTELY one of the greatest retro pop distillation songs ever! (dang, I'm kicking myself for not knowing about their east coast tour)

  • This great song is also on "The Roots of Powerpop," a great compilation from Bomp Records

  • Qué imaginación! Qué tienen que ver los mods de los 60's con una canción de un grupo americano que editó esta canción en 1986?

  • does anyone have a copy of that show "It's Happening" with Nashville Ramblers and Leopards playing?

  • Hands down THE BEST 80's tune EVER. When I first heard this in 198whenever ('85 Carl?) it blew me away. I'm glad it's on "The Children Of Nuggets" so the rest of the world who didn't get the mondo obscure 80's mod/60's LP it was can hear it's brilliance!

  • @Wilthomer66

1960s was in during the 1980s. this is so 60-ish if i didn't hear it on an 80s net radio station i would think it was from the 1960s except for the guitar which sounds like 80s left of the dial music.

  • cannot find this CD anywhere! suggestions?

  • i got it of a compilation lp but try detour records or amazon something like that

  • @kevinjUtube The song is on the compilation The Roots of Powerpop. It was released by Bomp! Records in the '90s and is still available.

  • one my favorites from Children of Nuggets. Fantastic music.

  • it certainly is thanks for your comment

  • About 1985 or 1986 or so, Not really a Mod band persay, was recorded about Subway trains in NYC.....

  • Well, I wrote it in San Francisco actually, in '83. So it was probably more about the N-Judah. I didn't move to NY until Summer '85. Thanks for liking it!
