@dannelit0w no different than when we wanted to fuck up iran in 2008 and russia stuck they're nose into it, every free nation has a wide variety of political beliefs, most americans didn't know where the nation of georgia was until that incident, so most didn't really care, some acted like they cared and even acted like it was evil because they didn't take the time to look at Russia's side of it, and some thought that there could have been a better way to handle it than war.

South Ossetia was never part of Georgia, and never will be. Georgia attacked peaceful civilians and peacekeepers in South Ossetia, and Russia responded. Russia will not be messed around with, even on small scale. American influence has no place next to Russian borders, and Russia made that very clear.
