I had a plastic case for my ipod. about a week or so later, there were many scratches that appeared all over the back. I'm a bit skeptical. i was told that debris somehow got stuck underneath. I'm opting for a zune now and wanted to make sure that this new baby wont get damaged

Well, he left his bag on his roof and drove off. When he was going down the road his bag fell off and his laptop went flying and so did his zune. His laptop of DOA, but he saw his zune looked ok from across the street, then a car ran it over.
