Apparently the Wii version of this got some really bad reviews. Too much to remember - too busy gameplay. Tomb Raider is more exploration and action based than puzzle solving.

for me this is the best tomb raider anniversary by far. I ve played all of them even underworld on xbox360. I must say that the graphic machine of anniversary and lara's movement is far more realistic and normal here than the robotized and sticky lara in underworld. really, wii may not have the best graphics but when it comes to control, this game wins all tomb raider games so far. 5 stars

The camera controls take getting used to but after you've played for a while they work really well. The framerate does get bad at some points but it didn't take anything noticeable away from the experience imo. Still definitely the best version of the game control wise. I've played it on pc and it doesn't compare even if framerate may be better. Motion controls of the wii feel so natural after you've played it...especially throwing the hook and reloading. Pointing and shooting couldn't be easier

For like really good/natural motion controls I play Metroid, Resident Evil, stuff like that, this one just seemed awkward, I much preferred when my mate brought around the Xbox 360 version (I have an Xbox just not the game) and I was able to be moving lara and the camera at the same time, with the framerate keeping up and stuff,

...no strange things like wiggling your left hand to swim/climb faster (wtf?) and once you're locked onto an enemy you know you'll hit (in Metroid free aim when locked was awesome but in this one it seems to just give you more chances to miss)... The graphics look rubbish on the 360 obviously because it's straight up port with no improvements, but on the Wii they push the system...

The Wii is awesome but I just felt like this version of Tomb Raider was awkwardly fitting itself around the Wii.

Reply to Plantium9611: Hi! The controls are complicated at the start, but you find it really easy later as you progress. A bit scary when animals jump out + attack you, but also fun. Loads of puzzles + action, the graphics + music etc is impressive! Way better on the Wii than other game consoles. So much to write in one comment, but yes I would recomend it, just try it out. Hope this helps you friend :)

Why.... that is basicly what tomb raider is, The duel pistol's and the backpack, They also have only just made her have a grappling hook, it came out in Legend.... so they are sorta releasing new gear for her... I just want her too have a torch that she holds instead of that other one on her shoulder. :D
