  • How did you get your compensator on? is it just a clmap on or did you lathe the barrel?

  • Did you know every time the bayonet is taken off of a Russian SKS, an inocent Russian dies?

  • "WHY YOU RUIN GLORIOUS RUSSIAN WEAPONRY WITH NICE WOODEN PARTS?! YOU DISGUST ME AND REST OF RUSSIAN MEN WITH YOUR TACTICOOL FAGGOTRY. YOU THINK YOU ALL BAD ASS BUBBA AMERICAN BECAUSE YOU MAKE GUN BLACK" - Ivan

  • Just got one like urs but mine has a bayonet

  • @sportnsks39 how did u get ur sks 2 shoot so fast is it auto or semi auto..

  • Can you convert a regular sks into a model "D"?

  • @troopcom Yes you can, but it requires some milling work. I wouldn't recommend it, unless you're a machinist and know what you're doing.

  • Im trying to help a dude out with modifying a SKS and do away with the stock 10rnd mag. His is a black Norinco like yours not sure if its a model "D" one though. I see that the 30rnd mag you had in your hand didnt have that thing in the top of the mag that sticks out 2" 's maybe forward forward like some SKS high capacity mags. Is that a special thing with the model D Norinco where yours just takes a regular AK magazine or something. I dont know crap about SKS's just AR's & a tad bit on AK's

  • He cant even load the clip first try. lol

  • Dude that sks takes an ak mag ... How?

  • nice bump

  • Who here likes guns? I DO!

  • like the side folder.

  • This is just... totally freakin great.

    Good work man

  • i just bought one of thess guns i got the Norinco SKS 7.62x39 cant figure out what the small lever obove the sfty is any help > / ?

  • @theclassical1

That is the reciver cover pin. Google "Norinco SKS 7.62x39 manual" before you hurt yourself

  • Bad ACE!!!

  • WOW, there goes 15 bucks of ammo

  • nice vid!

I'm really thinking about getting that stock for my Norinco. Either that or the T-6

  • Damm that shit is nice my friend has one almost like that but his is a Hugo sks

  • I LIKE THAT MAN!!

  • why does that clip look diff than my yugo sks?

  • @ICECHIK82 because the model d accepts ak mags.

  • Because a Model D sks uses ak-47 magazines.

  • i got a russian one, i paid 300 for it and it came with the ati stock and a 20 round magazine. they had a chinese one for the same price, soo it was a no brainer.

  • wow that was an impressive bump fire dude good video! nice weapon by the way i like mine it is all stock tho i really want to put a nice stock on it though

  • YEAH MIKE!!! Blast that shit! Lets go shooting winter break up at Wild Cat or somethin. Hit me up

  • nice bump fire man

  • were can i get that folding stock for my sporter and i need a 75 round drum mag too

  • ATI (Advanced Technologies International) i believe it to be the only manufacturer to sell a folding stock for the SKS.

  • Since we have to worry about spam so much couldn't post the site, I'm sure a Google search for "ATI SKS side folding stock" would give a good result.

  • what clip are you using

  • its an ak47 mag the norinco sks sporters the chinesse made they made them so they use detachable ak47 mags. pretty kool imo makes that sks better then a ak

  • you paid $600 for a russian SKS??? I just got mine yesterday for $250. And it has a laminated stock, and excellent bore. True, I live in Canada but what's with the price difference?

  • If you actually got a Russian SKS for that price, you got a fantastic deal. Of course, this all depends on whether it has all matching parts or not.

I own two, personally, but both of mine are Chinese. One is in mint original condition and the other is my sporter. The Russian ones are also rare, so hold onto it.

  • even 200$ is a fair price for an sks here

  • @dvdk87 About a year ago when you made the comment, the price difference was an American recession lol. Naa it wasn't that bad but the going rate for an SKS at a pawnshop is about $250 here too

  • I just traded my Hi Point 9mm carbine for ans sks, I got a damn good deal. Its a yugo sks with EVERYTHING on it . II have the same stock, they cut a slit for the bayonet but its not deep enough so it hangs low and the front of the blade is exposed. That would cut the hell out of your hand.

  • Hey Sportn, I have the same stock (ATI folder) with a model 'M'. My question is did you have any problem feeding HP ammo? I had to do a mod on the lower chamber edge to avoid jams. Do you prefer the new stock? Cool video!

  • Nah didnt have any problems when feeding hollow point ammo. but Yea i do prefer the Tapco T6 because of the collapsible stock and rail attachments. thanks for the comment

  • @slimjim433 i know your comment is old, but what did you do to your sks? mine jams constantly on the last few rounds. i blame it on the mag, but it could also be the lack there of a feed ramp.

  • nice bump fire :)

  • I have the same rifle and same stock but could i take the bayonet lug off of anohter sks and put it on mine?

  • I have a Russian SKS , which I hear are much better than the Yugo,I wouldn,t sell my SKS for nothing . The price of these old rifles is going up , within the next 5 years the price would be around the $1000 Range.

  • bullshit

  • ah I can here the liberals in washington shitting their pants now

  • can you give me the indication of the gun model, weapon prices, price cartridges,

    also the default

    and benefits

What I saw was very light, too heavy for a beginner

  • Texas $600 for SKS

    20 round box ammo $9.00

  • hellow, its my understanding that the SKS model D is converted to take ak47 mags. I see yours does and i was wondering if you had any trouble fitting the gun into the side folding stock. I have seen a couple SKS model D rifles and the mag well seems to be pretty wide.

  • the gun with in the folding stock with easy, I just had to file down the mag well little bit for the mag to fit in smoothly, But i took off this stock and put a T6 fusion stock with the bottom rail, also with this stock too i had to filed down the mag well alil for a nice fit. I'll make a new video this month showing the new stock, just as soon as I find some cheap ammo.

  • Sounds great. Im looking foward to it. Thanks again.

  • I HAVE THAT SAME NORINCO SKS MODEL.

  • i got one with a bayonet

  • If anyone leaves a bad comment about anyone I will delete it. There is no room for hostilities here.

  • The only thing I have a problem with, is that no one ever shows what they're aiming at. I like to see some targets now and again! lol. Cool vid, don't let these people get you down, just watch out for ATF -lol.

  • XxDarkThronexX comment = First of all it's called a slam fire, not a bump fire. And I would STRONGLY suggest taking this video down. A malfunctioning SKS is just as illegal as a full auto conversion. The feds could give two shits less about whether you knew this was illegal or not.

-Darkthrone you dumb Motherfucker. bumpn is controlled firing, a slam fire with 30rd mag, 1 pull of the trigger its all gone without stopping.

  • You are wrong sir... A "slam fire" occurs when you rack a round in the chamber and the firing pin is stuck forward and causes the round to go off (this has happened to me)... "bump fire" is when you use the weapons recoil to assist in making the gun seem full auto... Bump firing is completely legal.... Next time you try to act like you know what you're talking about, know what you're talking about first.

  • hey josh go fuck yourself bitch! In a slam fire, Sometimes this inertial force is sufficient to set off the primer, thereby firing the round without the operator pulling the trigger. This can potentially occur repeatedly, until the magazine has been emptied or the weapon malfunctions. josh you dumbass mothefucker get your shit straight. bitch

  • Actually you are wrong here. As Josh correctly stated, this was bump firing and its completely legal.

  • WOW!!! The only thing worse than a "Telephone Tough guy" is an "internet Tough guy"!... You should be carefull, I may tell your Mom and Dad about what kind of stuff you're writing!!:(

    Have a great day.

  • Whats all the hype about the norinco's?

I never see what everybody else seems to like in these guns...

no offense or anything- great vid and nice gun..

  • some of the comments says that it can take ak mags for them

  • What brand of ammo were you using? Was it Wolf?

  • Golden Tiger FMJ

  • Lol, yeah what a dumbshit, Malfunctioning? Slam fire? no hes definently doing that himself with no modification to the gun. Semi Auto = as fast as you can pull the trigger, the gun will fire. DUMBSHIT ! ! !

  • fuck the feds. shoot your shit how you want. fucking haters wish you can have onbe

  • its not a malfunctioning sks fucktard. Its semi automatic being manipulated to make it seem automatic...not illegal

  • Actually, he's doing it in his belt loop. I still wouldn't have the video on youtube of myself doing it though. To each his own.

  • dumbass....slamfire is a malfuntion of the rifle. thats when the free floating firing pin gets jammed in the forward position causing the rifle to slamfire(it will cycle thru the rounds automaticaly. once it does that there is no stopping it unlike a bumpfire where you can seize fire at will.

  • I'm looking into getting a muzzle break/compensator, how do you like yours? Was the purchase worth it? I'll be installing it on a stock Norinco SKS.

  • I have an SKS-D as well. I had thought about putting a folder on it as too, or maybe the Dragonov stock, but I wasn't sure on the 922r law if I did. So at this point, it's how I bought it. For those that aren't familiar with 922r, it doesn't let you change an imported firearm into a style that would otherwise not be allowed to be imported, unless it has less than 10 imported parts (from a list of parts). You have to remove/replace enough imported parts with US made parts to be legal.

  • So, the Norinco SKS sporter can accept AK mags no problem? That IS a Norinco SKS sporter you have there, is it not?

  • its probably a SKS M or SKS D they are norinco and came from the factory with the ability to accept AK mags.

  • can it take any ak mags or does it have to be a specific one? oOo bad spelling

  • Tapco brand Mags are the best for sportered SKS rifles.

  • but wat about all of the other Norinco SKS ?

  • the model D and Model M i believe are factory designed to be able to use AK mags. Most Chinese SKS rifles are not D's or M's. if you just want to leave the SKS alone the factory mag that came with it is the best.

  • norinko will take ak mags

  • A bit like an AK now, shorter barrel and accepts AK mags.

  • Did you modify the trigger group or does yours bump fire that easily. My norinco won't bump like that at all. Nice video!! I just put the fusion system from tapco on mine. Check it out.

  • Thanks, No modifications were done to the trigger group it just fires that easy, maybe the folding stock helps alil. I too also switched to a fusion system, got a 30rd smoke mag from tapco also, great stock its solid.

  • you shouldn't abuse it like that. its worth 3 times what you paid for it now! just regular paratrooper models without the ak mags are going for $400-$450.

  • its the norinco paratrooper takes standard ak mags and drums

  • Wait, that ain't a Norinco Type 56 Carbine SKS, is it?

  • No, I dont think so, probably..

  • Yeah, but the Norinco SKS and the Type 56 Carbine are the same thing.

So, this is a sporting version of the SKS.

  • brings back memories from nam. damn vietcong firing sks's at us.

  • how much you pay for that?

  • I bought it for $250, three years ago.

  • shows you how much they have gone up

  • Awesome man! I have a chinese norinco that I love.SKSs are the best cheap to obtain, shoot and maintain. And they are easy on the shoulder but powerful.

  • niccee

  • Yes, some Chinese SKS variants can take AK mags based on a factory design, so if you want an SKS with AK mags, get one of those. I have heard that those "duck bill" mags you can put on other SKS's are prone to jamming.

If you want my opinion, instead of modifying a 10 round fixed magazine SKS to take 30 round mags, I say get an AK instead. They were designed to have detachable mags. In short, either get a Chinese one designed for such things or get an AK. Leave 10 rounders stock.

  • How do you mod your SKS so it accepts removable magazines?

  • he didnt mod it. the SKS-D and the chineese type 84 both take AK mags factory. to mod a normal one to take AK mags would take a good gun smith with access to a machine shop

  • or just remove the fixed box magazine and use SKS removable mags. they have a "duckbill" on the front of it, but no biggie. they're not "pop in, pop out" like AK mags, but they do the trick just fine.

  • im either gona buy a SKS yugo or a Saiga IZ-132. im leaning towad the Saiga because it is new and i dont know how good the SKS detachable mags work. i keep hearing they are pieces of shit and dont work.

  • I hear a lot of problems with the detachable mags, main problem i keep hearing about it that it doesn't feed properly and in some cases people had to file down the mag a little bit just for it to work on their sks rifles. jam's are inevitable with those sks detachable mags, But with AK mags on a SKS no problems, feeds like the way it should. This gun hasn't jammed in years. Me, I would get a Bushmaster BA50 carbine haha.

  • lol. yeah but you have a SKS D which was made to take AK mags. Unless i wanted to pay more than the price of a Ak varient to get a normal SKS modified. So i probaly will get the Saaiga. it is a AK but on a hunting stock. you can get 30 round mags for it. they just cost a lot

  • where did you get the D model? they're not all that common you know... i'd keep the original stock if i were you.

  • Yea I kept the original stock, got the dragunov one also. Then I bought the folding stock awhile back. I think it compliments the sporter version well, nice and compact. I no longer have the compensator installed took it off, prefer having them muzzle flashes shine. I might make another video at dusk to show the flashes at night better..

  • bad ass

  • "its not fully auto its the old thumb trick! you put your thumb in your loop of your pants where your belt goes and the recoil will make the rifle go back so its pushing on the trigger."

REALLY??? i know what i'm tryin tomorrow!!

  • nice gun, i myself have a chinese sks. is that folding stock an ATI as i have been looking for a folding stock of my own...

  • xBleedxLikexMex, I dont reccomend the folding stocks..especially the ATI. I myself have one for my Yugo and it is crap. The folding mechanism is made of plastic! It has ALOT of play when the stock is open/closed. The mechanism basically gave out after a few uses (could open/close without depressing the button).

I reccomend buying a Tapoco T6 stock with bottom rail. 100% made in the USA and built for hell and back again reliability. My order has already been placed. ;) $84.99 (tapco) .com

  • Its not full auto.

  • its not fully auto its the old thumb trick! you put your thumb in your loop of your pants where your belt goes and the recoil will make the rifle go back so its pushing on the trigger.

  • hey michael when r u guys gonna go shooting again??

  • very nice.
