OK i have the same card but in amp edition.. this is an overclocked card... But i cant max out the game.. do you think my dual processor is a problem? (i5 650)
@RandyLyreTV damn, is it an option to overclock the processor? I dont have the money to buy a new one.. Do you know something about overclocking, i mean, does it raise the fps`?
@ipodgeneration1 You will feel a slight performance increasement, but if you don't know how to overclock properly, you can ruin your whole system. What I would do is leave the Dual-Core i5 there and save funds to get a Quad-Core processor. Overclocking is an option but I do not reccomend it if you don't understand a lot about hardware.
@ipodgeneration1 Yes I do recommend the i5-2500. It is basically the third best gaming processor, and with a good graphics card, you can max ouy every single game.
@RandyLyreTV So your computer uses both graphics, the one you have in the processor and the one you have on the mainboard (gtx 460).. Does the game use that automaticly (both graphics) or do you have to change something in the settings?
@Alsenweg42 Well, those specs are not bad at all and you could probably max the game out. There are a few possibilities: If your processor is overheating, it is slowing you down. Use AIDA64 to check temperatures, and keep in mind that above 50 is already very hot. Or maybe the game is not compatible with your graphic card. You could try updating your GPU drivers, it should help. Try doing it and tell me if it is better.
@Alsenweg42 If you maxed out BF3 but you didn't max out AC Revelations I can assure you that the game is not compatible with your Graphics Card, I'm sorry. Battlefield 3 is 9 times heavier than AC Revelations.
@GameGlitcher94 Ah, probably wouldn't lag me the way it did with the shadows, but I like to post all my benchmarks set to max, so players can see and compare their performances.
@NoobsAreUsh Well, you actually can't. You have to deal with the frame drops. I keep getting drops from like 100 to 50 FPS, and it also lags as hell. Ubisoft didn't work hard enough to fit it fine on the PCs.
@NoobsAreUsh But I can play it well on the max settings when fraps is turned off. With fraps off I got about 50-120 FPS (with several frame drops). With fraps on I got from like 30-60, also with the frame drops.
@RandyLyreTV I think my problem is more or less because of SLi, but the frames are extremely inconsistent for me as well. Let's hope the final version of this game turns out better, lol.
@NoobsAreUsh I hear you brother. This is not the official version (I hope) and the official one will certainly have a frame limiter. So we won't have framedrops from like 200 to 50.

The problem by me is, that i would have to change the mainboard too...

@ipodgeneration1 No, I only use the GTX 460. My onboard graphics card is always disabled.

@RandyLyreTV wouldnt that raise the performance?
ipodgeneration1 2 months ago
@ipodgeneration1 It would, but I have no idea on how to use both at the same time. But in fact, only the GTX 460 is enough for me.

If you switched shadows off you would have had next to no lag...

@RandyLyreTV no, thats not my point, i am saying switch shadows off and you wont even lag when fraps is on.

I have the stuttering problem as well! Whenever I turned it lags like hell. How exactly do you limit the frames?

"Fraps Off: 50-117 (Yes, it is possible. There is no frame limiter on the game, and this is why I got more lag.)"
You mean tearing right? higher fps doesn't give you lag
Owais2wolverine 3 months ago
@Owais2wolverine Yes, getting frame drops from like 100 FPS to 50 makes it slow.
RandyLyreTV 3 months ago
@Owais2wolverine Ubisoft should definetly put a frame limiter on it. I'd get Plain 50-60 FPS if they did, and I wouldn't get this frame drops
