Well you sure do know your bluegrass don't you. Hmm. Lets see here. John Duffey died in Dec of 1996. Valerie Smith didn't start in the bluegrass field until 1997, when she recorded the Patchwork Heart album, it wasn't released until September of 1998. So yeah i would suppose that John Duffey would have said that.

DON'T look at this guy's site. He's a pervert. He might be a bluegrass 'fan' but he doesn't know much. Probably wouldn't know a good jam if one was shoved down his pie hole. Rowan is hardly bluegrass any more, O'Brien is in a class by himself.
