Heck so people are so critical... Ok it wasnt a perfect performance and as Woulln says its made harder when people compair it with the Peter Roberts performance. Ill tell you what though, I wish I could play as well as this young man... All in all I enjoyed listening to this recording and wish the Golden hymn brass band well.

My hat is off to this outstanding soloist! Not an easy piece to perform and to perform well, but you did it! My only suggestion for the band would be to watch for the mid-brass becoming overpowering in places. Balance could be a bit better regulated. OR, it might simply be the hall of the performance throwing things off as far as sound is concerned. Overall, EXCELENT marks for the entire ensemble and conductor! I'm proud of you all!
