  • Awesome... I seen this video before we got our Bully and once we got D-Jay I had to teach him high five. Family and friends love when he does it goes there so use to seeing the typical shake a paw. Which is what we taught our Sheppard/Lab mix (who has passed on). Cool video.

  • Nice

  • Jake is awesome. You clearly put a lot of time in bonding with him. I know bulldogs can be stubborn to train (depending on personality as well as natural characteristics.) Great job. Keep loving him just the way you are.

  • I own a 3 year old female English Bulldog and can tell you ladies and gentleman, Jake is one hell of a bulldog. Anyone who has written a negative comment about the dog or the owner is deprived of two things. Their lives have never been changed by a dog. OR. You have been dropped on your head as a baby. SO many ignorant and negative people in this world. Do yourself a favor and by yourself a dog....On second thought.. Dont.

  • So you can train a Bulldog. lol He is too cute. Love him. Looks a lot like my "niece" Sophie.

  • o thats a old english bulldog its slimmer

  • I wike his wittle harness :3

  • Great looking and smart bully with lots of energy! Where did you purchase him?

  • oh my god, your bulldog is gorgeous!!!!! Wow! Beautiful, and he looks very happy!

  • my pug was a trick masta! he knew how to paddy cake. >w<

  • Very, very gooooooooood Job man!!!!!!! i have a frenchy but i love the british bully's

But yours he is SOOOOOO PERFECT!!!!!

  • Try not to Smile... :)

  • SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AWWWEEEESSSOMEEEE YEEEAAHHHHH BULLDOG !

  • Impressive. Smart Bulldog!

  • hahaa he was doing the tricks befour you asked

  • @geraintpierce thats because dogs learn the hand signals =] awesome uh?

  • there are some pretty stupid morons on this site ready to dish out their high moral at any pet video and everything is animal "abuse". I double if these idiots ever own a dog. If the owner dresses the dog up in a costume, that's abuse. If the owner teaches the dog some tricks, that's abuse. If the owner feeds the dog some treats, that's abuse. I bet my dog is treated by me better than most of these idiots by their parents and they will still consider it animal abuse. Too many idiots!!!

  • How much time did you spend on teaching Jake these tricks?

  • Big pretty puppy.

  • i want a bulldog

  • Man You should write a book on how to train english bulldogs if they can afford a trainer.

  • how long did it take you to train him to do all these tricks?

  • Jake is a Boss!

  • VERY NICE AND VERY CUTE>W<

  • fuuuuuuuu i love these kinds of dogs

  • We are wanting to breed our Bebe. We have yet to find the perfect male. Bebe is small for bulldog standards, so we have to find a male who doesn't have a HUGE head....If anyone knows of any good males around the GA area....message me!!

  • @katiekins77 if your female is small, she will almost 100% have to have a c-section. Just an fyi. we thought about breeding our bulldog and ultimately decided not to. She is a family member, not a revenue center. At least thats how i looked at it

  • @scooternimrod To each their own. We really aren't THRILLED about putting her body through pregnancy, and haven't as of yet. It is definitely nothing I condone. Bulldogs have a lot of genetic issues and breeding is a lot of time not even promoted or condoned by vets. Bebes vet told us that he never urges bulldog owners to breed for a myriad of different reasons, but he told us that we would be morally remiss if we didn't extend her blood line. She's an amazing dog. We shall see..

  • that is a beautiful smart dog...im looking to buy one.

  • I LOVE the "growl" trick! How did you teach him to do this? I am also interested in "bang". I have two Aussie's and I have only taught them the basic commands, we're ready for new ones!

  • I'd really want such a nice dog myself

  • hes so smart!

  • My neighbor has a labrapoodle and does the "bang" trick with her. It gets me every time. She and her human companion rock!

  • i want a bulldog so bad

  • @2dogarage This is by far the stupidest comment I have ever received (and I have received some really stupid ones). Are you serious? It is a trick, you freaking moron. There is no real gun pointed to his head. Jake has more love than you obviously have in your life. He has never been hit or hurt by either one of us nor would we allow anyone to abuse or hurt him. Why don't you get a f*#@#$ life and stop preaching and judging on something you know nothing about.

  • @tnguyen67 no need to censor, unload on that faggot.

  • @2dogarage man you ARE stupid........how about the dogs in movies?how about guard dogs who are beaten by a plastic stick for training?and sorry but i LOVE dogs more than any other animal, but that doesn't make them gods amongst us.....get real

  • @2dogarage I know you can't be serious. I...just..there is no way. My brain is literally throbbing in pain from trying to process what you just said. I can't even go into all the reasons why you are completely uninformed and frankly wrong about the nature of this video and the nature of dogs in general. I..here let me help you:

Dog Sense: How the New Science of Dog Behavior Can Make You A Better Friend to Your Pet, by John Bradshaw is a great place to start. Knowledge is power, friend.

  • @2dogarage You're right. I spoke with a group of dogs last week about such horrible acts of dog terror. We wrote letters to senators to push for dog civil rights and to have legislation passed for "the bang trick" to become a hate crime punishable by death. The afternoon turned into a lesson in which dogs taught me about love and compassion, which concluded with slobbering, group-humping my leg and uniting in a circle of butthole-sniffing.

  • @2dogarage If you don't have a control over your pet then you let them control you. Dogs are like wolves they need a pack leader even if it is a person. Plus he is getting treats. What's better than treeeeats :)

  • @spankmybassguitar It's possible to be the pack leader and respect the psyche of a dog who is basically at the mercy of whatever it's "master" dishes out.

Dogs love to learn tricks, it increases the amount of time spent with their beloved and yes, it usually involves treats -- win win. But to stage mock violence is wrong. Dogs are much more sensitive and cognitive than this owner gives his friend credit for.

  • @2dogarage I want to punch you in the face repeatedly

  • so much more trained than Bubba & Buffy ha ha!

  • @fallenfaith I don't mean to be rude or anything but a British bulldog and an English bulldog are the exact same and if you don't believe me I know a bulldog breeder so yer I'm right xx

  • @LuluLishous And I don't mean to be rude, but I used to help a family member breed both of the breeds, and I'm from and live in England, Britain :-)

  • What a good boy! The dog isn't so bad either.

  • @FallenFaith1 - You need to get your facts straight. A British bulldog is the same thing as an English Bulldog. Google it ! England is part of Great Britain. Maybe you are thinking American versus English? Either way, does it really matter?

  • @tnguyen67 It doesn't matter - but what with me having bred both breeds I know that when KC registered there is a vast difference in what they're named - by the way, I know England is part of Great Britain, I live here. An English Bull Terrier is a completely different breed to a British Bull Dog Terrier, they're all "Bull Terriers", in much the same way as is a "Staffordshire Bull terrier", and Staffordshire is in England too! So, yes I do have my facts straight.

  • @FallenFaith1 Your thinking of the english bull terrier, and english bull dogs are the exact same as british bulldogs

  • @bryz2034 Perhaps they're referred to differently in different parts of the world? Here in the UK they're all "Bullies" (bull dog terriers), Whatever he is known as though he is gorgeous, and I did pm the uploader to tell him this - as I wasn't being picky, I just genuinely wouldn't want anyone getting the wrong breed as a puppy.

  • @FallenFaith1

No, an English bullog is exactly the same thing, and no one is going to buy the wrong breed for crying out loud.

  • @Mugenloo Oh get over yourself! You do get in a tizz about the simplest of posts don't you? In the UK they are two completely DIFFERENT breeds, which is where both of the breeds originate from!

  • @FallenFaith1

I'm British (English :P whatever you call it in your part of "The world"), I've owned Bulldogs all my life, you're wrong. I just don't like people trying to "correct" something that is 100% correct in the first place. They are exactly the same breeds, google it. Look at all the other people telling you the same thing. Shut up.

  • @Mugenloo Lmao! Shut up? Erm, no lol! I don't really care what you like, I mean - who are you? I shall comment on whatever I feel like as long as I'm not being a rude obnoxious control freak such as yourself :-)

  • @FallenFaith1 Wow you're fucking retarded. And I shall comment on every incorrect statement on Youtube purely to correct them, thanks very much. Criteria for being a control freak is knowing about Bulldogs apparently.

"ERRR THAT IS A BRITISH BULLDOG, NOT AN ENGLISH BULLDOG DONT WANT SOMEONE TO BUY THE WRONG BREED AS A RESULT OF THIS VIDEO MR BULLDOG OWNER"

    Absolutely retarded

  • @Mugenloo You know I have met some particularly awful individuals in my life, who then on discovering the internet turned into the most vile individuals - and you want to know what their favourite thing is to call people? Yes you guessed it - "retard" or retarded", seems it's a pattern in lifes scum of the earth :-)

  • Comment removed

  • @FallenFaith1 ur retarded an english bulldog has one of the shortest noses of all dogs dummy

  • @jakefairchild Do me a favour! When you've actually visited "England" where these dogs actually come from, then you can run your mouth off! I helped a relative breed both English and British bull dogs for many years, they were all KC registered, top blood lines - and trust me, the only person that the British Kennel club would be calling a retard here is you lol!

  • @FallenFaith1 You need to google it before you instruct others.

  • @FallenFaith1 You're think thinking of an English Bull Terrier.

  • @FallenFaith1 your such a fail

  • how much would a english bulldog cost? :o

  • Owner: Growl...Growl...Growwwwlllll

Jake: Shut the fuck up i can smell them cookies!!!!!

  • he does the tricks even before the guy asks him, just trying to get the treat, ignoring some of them... but that's ok, if he's just a year old, he's still a puppy and puppies have troubles concentrating... but if you speak to him so fast and confusedly he won't get better... just a piece of advice :)

  • He's adorable!

  • what made he crowd...

  • awww super cute! :D

  • aww my bulldog was a reverse brindal and she died last week ..rip PEGGY

  • My bulldog is a big one. The weight on my englsih bulldog is 35 kg :)

  • what a pretty funny pet :)) what is it's weight i wonder?

  • HOLY FUCK YOUR DOG JUST GAVE YOU A HIGH-FIVE, THATS AWESOME! My name is Jake too! ^_^

  • wow i have a english bulldog and he just sits all day lol wish my dog can do tricks but i still love him just like you love jake

  • "growl. growl. growl. growl. growl. growl." hahah

  • So cute !! Wish my bronxie would listen !!

  • What brand harness is that he is wearing and where did you buy it? Thanks

  • I would love to adopt one :D

  • he is adorable ... 12 people confused the like button with the dislike button :) thumbs up if you agree

  • How do you teach a dog to growl?

  • bulldogs r best dogs in the world with respect to their looks,......but the worst part is they wud never listen to their masters.....they do things their way

  • there face looks like they ran into a brick wall

  • Yeah, its easy to find videos like these, because bulldogs are really smart, my bullies I hardly teach them anything, and they are very smart n clever, I talk to them as if they were humans lol, they hate showers and I tell them to stop barking or I will shower them lol, I just say the word STOP, and SHOWERRR.. lol they run when I say it haha! Or a LEMON, cause I've squeezed them in there mouths haha, they know what LEMON is, and they know what wires do to, they shock haha.. love my bullies..

  • do you know the cut off point of a dogs chewing because my aunt 's dog likes to play rough and knows he can only be do that with me and one last Wednesday i found a puppy tooth hooks into my long sleeve shirt after had chewed on my arms. i dont mind him really chewing on my arms its just hes chewing up the sleeves so there is a lot of holes

  • 1:00 DAWWW!!! Soooo cute!!

  • Jake is awesome!

  • that's too cool... i can only get my bully to sit on command

  • Amazing my dog can do some of those tricks

  • Some cool tricks!

  • im getting my bullie in 2 weeks... where did you start teaching the grow?

  • oooo whos a goo boy? whos a goo boy?

  • OMG!!! he's great!!!

  • i have a english bulldog, but it took him about 2 weeks to learn how to shake

  • I am getting my bulldog in two weeks! I would like to teach him how to do does tricks..very smart dog

  • This is amazing!!!

  • love him!

  • Awesome Pooch!!!

  • Awww he's a cute bulldog!! low five! high five! haha cool video!

  • english bulldogs are one of the best looking dogs out there. always have the angry face on lol.

  • Good dog!

  • that dumb dog was just doing tricks randomly. notice how he rolled over when he was told to get up...and the owner tries to play it off. lol

  • Wow he's well trained! If I have any type

Of food my George automatically give me his paw. I posted a few videos...mainly of him acting stupid lol

  • well trained!!! my bulldog knows all her commands besides how to walk on a leash she is verrrrryyyyyyy lazy!!!! she acts like your not even there she will completely ignore you and sit!!!

  • Tip: somtimes with dogs if you get close to them they will sit like my boxer does, for the people who cant get there dog to sit then try getting close to them my dog does it so please try this and see if it works

  • You have to be pulling on my leg. The only trick i can teach my bulldog is to sit and stay

  • good job man! ppl say this breed is unintelligent and/or lazy, thus making them poor dogs to train. thx for proving them wrong! every breed of dog can be well trained :)

  • sweet! my next dog is going to be an english bulldog..

  • The most important thing with bulldogs following commands is that you feed them often after performing tricks. My bulldog Sidney, really only had two passions in life. The first, and most important was food, and the second was humping my father's leg when he visited. R.I.P. Sidney, I still miss you "bubba".

  • im getting a eng bull pup here in bout 3 weeks, all white, i hope i can get her to do some of these tricks

  • @cr80manMX - make sure you teach them when she is young when she still wants to please you. Jake is 5 now and he only does tricks when he feels like it. He used to run when I said "treats", now he waits for me to walk up to him with the treat. I think he has now trained me. But I still love him - he has so much character,

  • soooooooooooo awesome

  • AWESOME BULLYYYYY!! lLove him!!

  • LMAO he growl on command, like he could kill a fly? lol...but toward the end...he [the dog] says stuff you...give me some of that [whatever he's gettin fed] and I'll think about growling bitch....lol

  • Cool video. I cant wait to get one!

  • he can do all those tricks but he cant catch the treat...haha cute dog

  • how old is he, if you don't mind me asking :)

  • @smileyismaface He was about 1 year old in this video but he is 5 now. He can still do all of the tricks but it is strictly on his terms now.

  • @tnguyen67 that is definately a bulldog then! it's not so much that he wants to do tricks, he just wants the treats! thanks for the adorable bully video.

  • only tricks my bulldog did was sleep, snore, eat and fart!

  • your bulldog is awesome!!!

  • I think your Bully is awesome! I think that person who offered unsolicited advise was speaking from personal experience and even though there is some truth to what he/she said, I thought the comment was too direct and unwarranted. This is your doggie to whatever the hell you want! But I know mine got a little heavy from the treats she got from training and the wet food mixed in with the dry. She passed away much 2 early tho and I'm still very sad without her!!! Seeing Jake makes me smile tho!!!

  • cool done, jake does it well!!!

  • I think your bulldog is very cute! I have one spike and he does lots of tricks and says I love u, on the other hand I have a girl bulldog (olive) and she doesn't do any tricks, it's there disposition , you got a good dog!

  • this is impressive, i had a bulldog and all he would do was sit and only if he knew you had treats with you. also he would wake himself up from snoring to loud

  • aunque mi bulldog no hace esos trucos, es el mejor perro del mundo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • How the hell did you teach him to growl? LOL!!

  • can u tell me how you trained him to do this did u train him yourself or did someone trian him for u

  • Hmm, im thinkin of telling my parents to buy me one for my up coming birthday :):) always wanted one

  • @anoobis30 ME 2!

  • Bulldogs are great

  • My English bulldog looks just like yours do you live in Alabama

  • Wow, my bulldog only knows sit, high five/paw and kiss. Gotta teach mine to roll over and lay :P

  • I lost it at BANG lol

  • Go Jake!

  • Waouw, really great! :D

  • Jake is soo awesome!!! cool doggie!!

  • wouw dude ?

how much training do you give this dog ?:| i got a frenchy and i was training him but he won't learn anything -_-

  • Good boy.!!!!!!!!

  • wow awesome job...

  • smart dawg!

    but can he skateboard ;D

  • thats awesome i need to get a bull dog

  • Wow! That Bulldog is awesome! How old is he? I'd buy him from in the blink of an eye!

  • I wish my dog would do thiis.

  • You're dog is really well trained for a bully. Gotta love that stubborn streak though. We have a roughly 1.5 year old and she's learned quite a few commands as well, some not the conventional way, but it was her quirk. Stay has been the hardest so far since she's still quite a puppy.

  • i wish my english bulldog could do tricks like that!

  • Awesome!!!

  • @ddaschuk Thank you! Couldn't have said it better myself.

  • Sweet Baby!

  • This bulldog is beyond any imagination of adorableness.....Awesome video! =D

  • OMG! How'd you get him to do all that? My dog just sits. :( He's a bulldog too. Love Jake! He's so adorable!

  • Wow do not listen to idiots like brok3nbutt3rf1y, people like them just like to put others down to fill their own pathetic need to feel smarter and more secure! Your dog is awesome! I am jealous.

  • @mikeoncampus Yes, he should audition for "Am I smarter than an English Bulldog?" I think we know the answer to that! :-)

  • @tnguyen67, @mikeoncampus

Just coming into this conversation (which is really none of my business), br0k3nbutt3rf1y wasn't being a total jerk and in fact he was only giving you good advice (it's up to you if you want to follow it). I'm sure you are a great owner but you don't have to be such a dick and judgemental for a fellow dog lover. If you don't want advice from people on youtube, I advise you to block the comments or just don't post videos.

  • i can tell you are Vietnamese by looking at ur garden.

  • Wow, that's a really smart dog!

  • people that comment this are retarded

  • @ddaschuk well I'll reiterate what I said for your benefit, I never once called the dog fat, abused or neglected, I just said lay off the PROCESSED treats because they're full of sugars that don't actually do a dog any good in the long run. That is.. if they're given in EXCESS they can lead to OBESITY.

I said the dog was cute, as in happy and healthy and not obese, neglected/beaten to dance before his cruel owners. What I gave was sound advice about the treats.

  • how old was jake when he first learned all these tricks? i just got a 7 week old english bulldog =) and she knew how to sit very quickly on her first night. it's almost been 1 week now, and i can get her to sit, kiss, jump, Working on down and stay. thanks for any tips and guidance.

  • @Strangette Train her as soon as she can eat treats. I think you're on the right track. You have to teach them when they still want to please you as a puppy. We taught Jake when he was about 2 months and he has retained everything. We have another bulldog, Edward, and he's 8 months now. He has learned a lot of tricks but he didn't pick up all the commands like Jake did. Jake is really smart but he only does tricks when he feels like it now. But we love him anyway. :-)

  • @tnguyen67 hi again!!!! meatball is 10ish weeks now and today she finally MASTERED "lay down". i started to train her that command about a week ago. it took her a couple sessions before she really got it. definitely one of the harder commands for her to learn b/c all she did was try to pounce on the treat. I am so proud of her! I think you are right. I hear so many things about bulldogs being stubborn and not caring to please their owners. She is definitely eager to learn and please for now.

  • @tnguyen67 hi again!!! meatball is 10ish weeks now AND just mastered "lay down" and i am just esctatic! "lay down" was definitely the hardest command to train since she would just pounce on the treat instead of keeping her fat butt down :) i had to share... now i can teach her more tricks now she's got the foundation. she quickly learned "roll over" today too after her accomplishment. i teached her how to weave through my legs as well... SO FUN. i can't believe how fast she is growing up.

  • @tnguyen67 @tnguyen67 hi again!!! meatball is 10ish weeks now AND just mastered "lay down" and i am just ecstatic! SO FUN. she's growing up so fast!

  • @tnguyen67 Is it true that these dogs are expensive to own? I heard that they will more than likely need jaw surgery or something like that

  • @NAPTOWNLOS15 yes they are an expensive purchase but the jaw thing is a rumor. I have one myself and he is great!

  • that dog is awesome

i would really want an English Bulldog

but they cost way to much........

    but nice dog........

  • Your dog is so awesome! My dog just sleeps, eats, poops, drools, and drinks!

  • you should see my vids

  • I always think that english bulldogs always got that smile on their face lol

  • @tnguyen67 yea bro me to i fucking hate ignorant people!

  • omg shut up people. the dog is adorable.

  • that's cool great looking dog. congrats

  • O GOSH!!! I PRAISE YOU FOR BEING ABLE TO TRAIN SUCH A STUBBORN BREED! we taught our English Bulldog "sit" and thats as far as we got... we still love him tho and wouldnt trade him for the world!

  • OK "masters" if u say so, i guess u guys are dog whisperer....
