For those of you who want to have the same resonant sound that he shows you in this video, suspend the high E string over the C, Em and D Chords. Am sounds great using the same effect but he doesn't do that in this video.

I 2nd that emotion! I so used to get frustrated about getting the EXACT strum pattern down. U always ends up different by Sunday services. Think of that part of the song(s) as being your unique contribution... That and 7ths, 9ths, arpeggios, etc :)
