@loveisyou18 The show original took place in Milwaukee, but they moved to California during the later seasons. Laverne was born in Brooklyn, so that's why she has the accent. Shirley didn't have an accent - she had an accent on the first three episodes or so, but then it disappeared and she never spoke with an accent again ahaha. XD

Sadly, the reason why Ben Powers stopped acting was because he had a really bad drug problem. Currently, he is battling cancer and is living in Rhode Island. Ben was sooooooooooooo fine and talented. I just hope he is doing well.
