  • The kick and run strategy works well. I am more into finishers and fighters though. Mayweather is boring to watch but at least he knocks people out. Imagine this, an MMA fight where both fighters go into the match both with the kick and run gameplan. So all they do is kick each other then run away, lol, for 5 rounds. Just imagine the possibilities.

  • i feel like an idiot...trying to explain why i love mma to my buddy and told him to watch Condit and Diaz throw down...feel stupid now

  • big stinky should of drank a case of beer and ate 60 bucks worth of taco bell, then he could of got in a 69 w/ werdouche a gassed him out

  • @SurferKenTV3 Who do you think won the diaz vs condit fight man?!

  • Bradda Ken does it again... keep up the good work!

Condit killed me though... his nickname suits him well!!!!

  • @kripsak lmao me too. but did well overall betting wise. had a feeling that fight would screw up my parlay, so didn't touch it...thank gawd

  • @SurferKenTV3 Hey Ken you think you could make a quick vid just on your thoughts of Diaz vs Condit fight + outcome? I'd love to hear your opinion since there's so much controversy on it right now.

  • I thought nick clearly won the 2nd and the 5th, the first was close but i think nick pulled it out, with that said how the hell did two judges score it 49-46, there's no way carlos won 4 rounds

  • @nstar2495 Condit out-struck Diaz 29-23 per FightMetric in the 1st, and it's not like Diaz was landing real powerful shots. Of course his thing is volume, and he lost that battle.

I picked Diaz and he screwed what would have been a perfect night of picks. I'm counting Henry Martinez. He won. He was tattooing Riddle, but the judges blocked out the first 4 minutes of the 2nd rd. All 3 sherdog judges scored it for Henry. Strong picks again Ken, but you are as lucky as you are good. :)

  • @bernman23 LOL you say Nick Diaz screwed you and totally lost that fight yet Henry Martinez didn't. Yeah, OK buddy.

I don't understand you because you so Condit out-struck Diaz and then you say Diaz wasn't landing really powerful shots. Neither was Condit stupid...

He out-struck him but he sacrified OCTAGON CONTROL and AGGRESSION in almost all the rounds, which are both supposed to be scored by the judges. Plus, Nick got the only takedown of the fight & submission attempts. Nick 3-2

  • @nstar2495 Exactly, thank you man.

  • It doesn't make you scared to not want to be like Muhammed Ali in your 40's. Nick didn't ever seem very intelligent in the first place, so it's not like he's going to lose much. Carlos would. He's a smart guy and that's also why he won this fight. He had a discernible striking edge by the end of the fight. Simply walking forward isn't credited in the unified rules nor should it be in reality. Condit did more damage. Gotta love Diaz fans. They're my favorite in the sport.

  • @bernman23 AHEM...from the ufc website:

Judges shall evaluate mixed martial arts techniques, such as effective striking, effective grappling, control of the ring/fighting area, effective aggressiveness and defense.

Evaluations shall be made in the order in which the techniques appear above, giving the most weight in scoring to effective striking, effective grappling, control of the fighting area and effective aggressiveness and defense.

And "Condit did more damage" hahahahaha

  • @Uncharted3Ownage Neither landed powerfully, Condit landed more, thus he did more damage.

Read the rules posted. Criteria are scored in order. Effective striking, #1. Control 3, Aggression 4. Diaz didn't have control. Both wanted to stand-up. He barely had aggression because he was just coming forward most of the time, not doing so and landing.

Your username name shows how immature you are. I think I've had it out with you before. You are a waste of time and space. Piss off.

  • @bernman23 he landed more, but it was like 10 or 20 more strikes the whole fight. You have to add control and aggression into that, and yes, and while he didn't have control because really Carlos was running so he couldn't do what he wanted to do, he still had much more aggression and controled that almost the whole fight.

And how many strikes did Condit throw, while Nick picked his shots? He probably threw like double Nicks' yet only landed a couple more.

  • NICK GOT ROBBED!!!!!!!!!!

  • Carlos Condit was a SCARED punk....all he did was run and avoid Nick the whole TIME!

  • Condit starts slow, and I'm doubting Condit can get into his striking groove when faced with the sheer volume that Diaz throws. I'm hoping for a great fight, but it could easily be a Diaz strikefest. Great wrestlers will beat Diaz, but not strikers.

  • @surferkenTV3 Hey man just wondering if you could help me with my betting line, i'm looking to bet on an accumulator £10 -> Werdum, Koscheck, Barao and nick diaz for £50 returns. I don't bet often and i'm not sure if i'm being stupid going for the accumulator. Opinion would be cool since you seem to know your shit :)

  • @Kaedm8 Not a bad parlay. Werdum is not a lock but, he should be able to avoid roy's power like he did overeem's and take the UD. Barao vs Jorgensen is a risky one there. Barao has never been tested with a high level wrestler like Jorg. Dustin Poirier is a safer bet.

  • @SurferKenTV3 Woah seems like my lucky streak continues with MMA betting, unbelievable koscheck somehow got that decision!

  • Hey dude, I think you're the best predictor on youtube. I agree with most of your picks. I'm going with Herman via Sub, Jorgenson via UD(i can smell an upset from the better wrestler), Kos UD, Nelson UD and Diaz via UD.

    Enjoy the fights bro!

  • Condit by TKO in the second round is my prediction. Condit's KO power in both hands and almost equal reach will stun Diaz who will not be able to use his pitter patter boxing style without moving into Carlos's range. I look for Condit to take big chances early not wanting to go into the later rounds due to Diaz's superior cardio.I look for a kick/punch combo to end it from this excellent finisher. Looking forward to a great fight among great fighters.

  • I don't know if anyone's mentioned this yet, but doesn't this match-up seem like a mirror match of Nate vs Cerrone?? Kickboxer vs Boxer. The only difference is that both Nick and Condit are better in their respective aspects (some could argue that Cerrone has better pure kickboxer than Condit). Even the camps are the same.. Nick and Nate are with Caesar while Cerrone and Condit are Jacksons. Because of this, I think Nick is gonna come out on top just like Nate.

  • I think Condit will win this one because he is very explosive and uses Knees and kicks besides his fists.

Werdum should also win by unamious decision because roy looked not well against a crapy old cro cop.

maybe it was the weight cut i dont know

  • @tuk1903 Jackson's camp must have learned something from Nate's fight against Cerrone but Nick's on a different level than Nate and I can see Condit being forced into a Diaz boxing match. Safe not to bet on the Werdum fight though cos Big country is always a bit of a wild card.

  • nick diaz is going to close distance rendering condits kicks useless

  • nick did not truck daley or noons or penn for that matter

the first round of penn was close but then penn gassed

    noons was close

and daley damn neared ko'd him twice

    he trucked zaromskis tho

  • @101skanka. Exactly, carlos has a more diverse and better rounded striking game. diaz gains an advantage standing in the later rounds but its unlikely that he can weather an early storm from carlos

  • what about phil davis for an alien body!

  • @thenjay87 he does that broad shoulder stance thing, he's just trying to look huge and muscular lol

  • @SurferKenTV3 lol.

  • Nick doesnt get tired, carlos does I seeint it!!

  • I don't think it will be smart for Condit to try to use his kicks.

  • @gijoyojo1 I agree. He's training for that. might be a str8 up boxing match.

  • Barao vs Jorgensen might steal fotn.Solid card here bro!

  • Ur delusional if u think condit and diaz are equal in punching power

  • @101skanka make no mistake hater, i actually watch mma to come up with these predictions.no delusional logic here...some personal opinions stuff, but nothing "too" delusional.lol now please respond with who and why u think someone has a power advantage. would love to here your opinion.

  • @SurferKenTV3 I take nothing away from the fact that you seem to know alot about mma but do you really think that diaz has eqaul power to condit ????? diaz's boxing style is effective, but when was the last time he kod someone with a punch the majority of his tkos have come from the fact that he has drowned his opponents with his cardio, condit on the other hand is a power house and has knocket alot of people out from single shots. trust me if condit lands a bomb diaz is fucked.

  • @101skanka Paul Daley that is all. But yeah thx for replying with an insightful response, most would call me a dickhead and never comeback lol enjoy the fights man.

  • @101skanka You're nuts bro!Have you ever watched a Diaz fight? He has took the best shots everyone he has fought had to offer!Daley,Penn,Santos,Zaromskis,Gomi,Noons etc. the list goes on!Now about your power comment on diaz,he ko's Robbie Lawler, who also has a steel chin, with a jab,A JAB!Technique and speed are power, momentum, like Liddel's style.Sub to gijoyojo1.

  • bisping won that fight chael doesnt deserve a silva rematch after that fight pisses me off fuck judges they suck nuts and umm condit tko nelson ud and koshcheck ud

  • @JONJAR95 yeah thought it was close fight, but agree that Bisping def won the 2nd and slightly took the 1st. he'll be back and...C'MON man! don't you want to see Silva/Sonnen 2?!? If Chael loses he'll leave the UFC!

  • @SurferKenTV3

haha true chael is a fag and yea i want silva to show that chael not on riods and silva not injured that silva would knock chaels ass out. hopefully haha SILVA ERA!!!!!

  • I cant believe Werdum is only -145 vs Nelson. He's just better, period. That line is a gift.

  • Always good stuff as always, Ken. Herman definitely takes out Starks. Glad to see Short Fuse back and healthy in the cage.

  • @signormma thx boss. Love me some short fuse :D enjoy the fights braddah

  • im pickin Carlos all day!!,,i had him pickd a month ago even.

  • im pickin Pierce 4 the "upset"

  • @british87 Koz has been hesitant in the standup since the orbital fracture and Pierce is a good striker plus does well vs wrestlers. good money on that fight

  • Daiz will win. His skillset, toughness, and cardio are unmatched. Also, he's ugliest as hell and ugly people could care less about getting punched in the face. Some people were made to fight and he's one of them.

  • @4iamu That theory works for G-Sots too, but he sucks in the standup with an awful chin.

  • @SurferKenTV3 Yeah, his chin is very suspect, especially after his last 59 seconds and out performance. So, it's officially confirmed that G-Sots is out of the UFC 144 Japan matchup against Takanori Gomi, which I'm trying to get some live tickets as I type this. I used to thought old George had some major upside, but I guess not.

  • thumbs up condit wins lol :):):):)

  • @kevinmod881 enjoy THE fight, i know i will ;)

  • we agree on everything even on the outcomes

  • @browndani166 ruh roh enoy the fights man...shaved head yet?

  • @SurferKenTV3 nah i think im doing it this saturday. Just came down with strep throat so I'm waiting to get the skin fade done later in the week when I'm not miserable. Gonna grow out a beard with it instead of the chin strap to. gonna look crazy! lol

  • @browndani166 you will look scarey lol

  • @SurferKenTV3 that's the hope hahaha. I figured if I did the skin fade and kept my chinstrap I woulda looked like GSP but if I get the skin fade and grow a beard (not a crazy thick beard) i'd look bad ass! lol

  • @browndani166 i'm thinking Rasputin minus the hair kind of thing lol enjoy the fights Dan.

  • @SurferKenTV3 I was thinking Cort Mcgee like lol

  • I see Nick Diaz winning this fight rather easily. He is better in every area and even has better training partners. I think Carlos is good, but probably not ever going to be champion. Besides Nick and Berao, I don't feel very strongly about betting anyone on the card so I will probably lay some cheese on whoever the good underdogs are.

  • @MiloBoz Hold out for the betting lines on Thursday or Friday... diaz wins a war, carlos is no pushover tho. he gets a punch thru, drops nick oh boy, he's a killa

  • I'm feeling Nelson and Pierce for the upset, Barao taking out Jorgenson, Herman likely subbing Starks, and probably Diaz winning a war with Condit. There is no way that Diaz vs Condit as a fight sucks or is boring.

  • @ChrisPeteG Nelson/Werdum dead even betting lines right now. Diaz/Condit guaranteed to deliver.

  • Hahahha "Fat fuck shape"

  • Nick takes quite abit of damage in the beginning of all his fights, recently thats what it seems like, an i see Carlos capitalizing on this. Carlos via 1st round TKO

  • Ken, I have been doing terrible on my bets. I am going to ride your picks. Thanks bro.

  • Sotiropoulos is never going to lose the asymmetrical body contest, which is the only thing he's not these days.

NBK is my 2nd favorite fighter, and I don't particularly like Diaz, but I have a hard time seeing him not take this. Though, Condit has pleasantly surprised me his last couple fights.

Holloway's a punk and is going to get cut by the Diamond. UFC should have went with Hoku instead.

  • I'm not sure if much people noticed, is that Diaz fought his last multiple fights against people that is 5'11" and lower. Condit and Diaz has identical reach and height. Condit has more tools in his stand up game, unlike Diaz' last few fights. Diaz did get caught a few times by Penn in the first, and I think Paul caught him too (I'm not sure) so don't count Condit out.

  • @lilwayneisHORRIBLE PENN never caught diaz he might have landed a few shots but its a difference between getting hit and getting caught TRUST ME

  • Nick diaz is the next champ.

look at gsp vs jake shields and imagine it was diaz boxing look wot he did to penn.

  • @ChrisL1100 Yeah, Nick is on a roll.

  • @ChrisL1100 dont be retarded .. shields ground game is wayy different than diaz's and gsp had shields helpless in terms of grappling ...gsp will grapplefuck the almighty shit out of diaz ...i can totally understand the diaz hype but just look at his opponents ..PERFECT for him ..great fights too ..but gsp isnt just some good wrestler hes the best wrestler and wrestlers have usually had success over diaz ...styles makes fights

  • @ChrisL1100 gsp unfortunately got hit in the eye was hard for him to see jab.

  • @ChrisL1100

It may not be the most exciting spectacle but if GSP comes back healthy he will dominate either one of these guys with superior wrestling. There's absolutely no chance that Diaz will be able to deal with the takedowns. I'd expect GSP to open up as a fairly significant favorite, even with the injury concerns...

  • @JDillaDudas I think that may be true providing GSP returns at 100% and Condit or Diaz don't continue to improve at a fast rate. I understand that many athletes never recover fully from an ACL injury and Condit seems to be improving by leaps and bounds. Diaz seems to be improving as well.

  • What? mike pierce doesn't have a strange body at all?

  • @MMAoracle it's a little weird.

  • @SurferKenTV3

I agree with you on the strange body thing Ken.

  • Not gonna vote because I really like both fighters. I don't care what the outcome is as long as it is a war like Hendo and Shogun, (or hell, if it's half as good as that fight the fight will still be amazing,) I'm gonna be really happy.

Either way, I want the winner to beat GSP lol

  • @Uncharted3Ownage On the same page homie...with the GSP thing. But I got Diaz to out strike the striker

  • Rory MacDonald has beaten little Diaz, big Diaz is next, mark my words. Revenge on Condit is imminent.

  • WAR CARLOS CONDIT!

  • Damn this card is stacked 0_o.

  • @TinyTitian lots of potential, enjoy the fights!

  • Herman by submission, Barao by decision, Koscheck by decision, Nelson by TKO, Diaz by TKO.

  • Nick is 2nd tier fighter. Condit is going to put him in his place and this fight will exposed how overrated Nick's game is.

  • @Jungied LOL Nick will put the brakes on Condit. Carlos will gas by round 3.

  • @Jungied love it lol

  • @Jungied u must be joking

  • thank you for pointing out the weird shaped body shit!!! xD

  • @dakotagonzalez lol G-sots old man body is freaky.

  • anybody think this fight reminds them a lil of nate diaz vs cerrone could go the same way...

  • @MRWICK09 Cerrone beat himself to be honest though. Took himself out of his own game and screwed himself trying to box with a much superior boxer. So, Condit Diaz comes down to whether or not Condit sticks to his game plan, or falls into a slugfest with Diaz, which Diaz would win.

  • @MRWICK09 very much so. a similar outcome would not be surprising

  • Only 2 kinds of people wear sunglasses indoors, rockstars and arseholes, you my friend are a 'Prediction Rockstar', so there you go. Anyways I'm having Diaz, Nelson, Koscheck, Jorgensen & Herman. I'm using 'Fat fuck shape' to describe myself from now on, cheers. Enjoy the FOX show later, gonna be up real early to download it later, don't tell Dana. ;)

  • @cmpunk1977 u my friend have earned a spot at the head table ;) FOX SPOILER: don't read if u haven't watched it...................

IT WAS BORING AS WATCHING FLIES FUCK

  • @SurferKenTV3 Hahaha, I guess the bar is set high and yes the show fell below expectations. Only guy that seemed to perform above expectation was Bisping, majority of people thought he won that including Dana & Chael. I now would really like to see Bisping vs Silva if Chael loses his rematch.

  • @cmpunk1977 saw the fight again, I would give it to Bisping by a razor thin edge. He outstruck Chael and held him against the fence for the 2nd and 3rd rounds...minus a couple TD's he controlled both rounds...still debatable but hey, whatcha gonna do.

  • @cmpunk1977 for the 1st and 2nd...not 3rd duh. the 1st round was very close tho.

  • @SurferKenTV3 I think the question about the Chael vs Bisping fight is how much does holding someone against the fence really count for? I'm sure it's under octagon control but I seriously don't think it's as valued by the judges as controlling the octagon with striking, and IMO rightfully so. I think if you're beating people down like couture, then it should be valued highly, but if you're just stalling and getting out hit like Bisping was, I don't think it should count for much, just IMO

  • @thnk4urself i agree, have been a staunch supporter of JMMA rules, more activity merits more points. Like an active guard against a lay a pray fighter. enjoy the fights this weekend man. peace out

  • @SurferKenTV3 I support that too. I enjoy grappling more than striking sometimes but I hate seeing fighters stalling. I think with pressure from the UFC (who obviously would rather have fights stood up as well) that the rules may end being amended to get more action and less stalling. I think it's just a matter of time. and thanks, I will have a good weekend especially if the patriots win the superbowl of course

  • @cmpunk1977 just got the "fat fuck shape" comment. f'ing hilarious mate lol

  • Fuck yea, Nick Diaz is gonna win. I do agree though CCs only chance is the 1st round, after that he wont be able to keep up with vegan ironman pace, especially for 5 rounds.

  • @WickedMo13 i think the only chance of CC is a KO, if nick gets hit by some crazy knee or a sneaky power bomb :P

  • @miguelbombardauno Agreed, but that is way easier said then done. Those big shots only come with gaps, and stand offs. Diaz wont let him breath.

  • @WickedMo13 lol "vegan ironman pace" classic

  • why would you have a computer in ur sun room??

  • @TheBigChubz b/c the computer wing of my palatial estate is undergoing a floor waxing ;P

  • @SurferKenTV3

    LOL @ palatial.

  • @CascadeSoldier i had a strange feeling you'd notice that lol how bout that boring ass fox event?!

  • @SurferKenTV3

Again, LOL @ palatial. Solid word Ken. And yeah, I think Fox wants their money back. :P

  • @CascadeSoldier not a good show for casual fans imo. not alot of skill demonstrated, i have no clue why they put Davis/Evans Weidman/Maia on a national broadcast event at prime time smh. I'm sure the numbers were good, but it's not gonna make converts of "on the fence" type of mma fans. Just awful matchups. I mean WE don't mind so much, cause of the title outlook, but even my wife knew Davis/Evans would go the distance with no exciting moments. arrrgggh

  • @SurferKenTV3

I feel ya man verbatim. Let's just hope the Fox 3 card is even a little better. I think Miller/Diaz is a step in the right direction compared to this stuff.
