I can also tell you're at your phase in musicianship where you think every solo has to be fast otherwise it sucks. i was where you are too in drumming and guitar when i got a few years into them.. then i realized you should have some variety and its not all about speed afterall. youll grow out of it and be more humble soon. well hopefully.
