if you watch the fumble play, it was third down and he was going to tackle him anyway so it would have been turn-over anyway. The diff. is that we would have had to drive a little further after the punt. Stop blaming the fumble because it didn't decide the game

no he didn't have the first down, 7:31 the line backer hit him at the line, it wasn't a first down because he was being driven backwards. that was third down and it would have forced a punt cause they were on the 50. Stop bitching about it cause linebacker u came through

i agree- we never know what could have happened. there was a huge momentum swing with that fumble, pryor was playing with a lot of confidence up to that point in the game.

Man great game, lots of people were complaining that the spots for PSU were generous. OSU basically got a field goal out of a bad spot at 4:50 in the video, he never made it past the marker but was given an extra yard by the line judge. The linesmen were terrible in this game.

Funny how most OSU fans I know are now so quick to discredit PSU and say that they can't compete with anyone in the top 5. Isn't that what everyone has been telling you the past 5 years, yet all of you still believed the Suckeyes were the greatest team on earth. Once Penn State gets crushed, maybe the Big Ten will finally lose any luster it had remaining.

Congrads to Penn State for having the luck of a fumble recovery to maintain there number 3 posiition. Good luck with the rest of your season and I really feel bad for them if they have to face Texas or Alabama. But who knows maybe they will recovery some lucky turn-overs there too, not that it will help because the SEC has way too much speed for Penn State to contain. I personally think you would have a better shot again Texas. Good luck

Penn State didn't just have luck, Rubin punched the ball out of Pryor's hands. The game was what it was. You could also say Penn State would have won 16-6 if Kevin Kelly hadn't missed that field goal.

And about that SEC speed, didn't Penn State beat Tennessee by more than Florida did in 2006? Penn State is 7-4 in bowls against the SEC, if I were an SEC fan, I'd hope I wouldn't have to face Penn State. And Penn State is 2-0 against Texas in bowls. Penn State is not a glorified Boise State.
