  • I watched this when i was a child! This was one of the Only VHS recordings I had of monstertrucks!!! we recorded off the VCR and Lost it long ago!! Thanks So much!!!!!!

  • rednecks

  • That woman announcer is annoying. But I can watch these old school clips for hours, brings me back to my childhood and how much I used to love the old school monster trucks with the real truck bodies. There's no soul to the sport today, it's just a giant roll cage with tires and a disposable fiberglass body much like NASCAR's evolution.

  • @jnoble12 Yeah I agree with you 100%,although these trucks nowaday's are faster or whatever they lack just about everything the original trucks brought to the table over 20 years ago.

  • Great videos where'd find them from?

  • Wow! I've never seen this version of Dan Patrick's Samson before. I remember when it was white and was called the Keystone Krusher but I've never seen it as a red Samson truck.

  • Oh my god! This is the first video confirmed from Pittsburgh! I was at one of these events over that weekend. Went to many of them from 85 to this event. I remember it was sad seeing as this was the end of an era with them replacing the truck pulls with that mud bogging pit. Back in the good old days that arena would be packed.. and you can see in this video that attendance has dropped. If I remember one of the mud racers blew threw the mud so fast it crashed into the wall at the finish...

  • yep that was Tom Meents who crashed into the safety net at the end in the mud race. I got event on tape I think my dad was the one who taped it cause I was really young yet since I was born in 88.

  • more events please

  • I wonder what happened to Pam Vaters? She was the wife of Mike....used to drive the Boogey Van truck

  • she divorced mike and sold boogey van

  • As I understand it she's currently a manager at a Subway.

  • Is this the same place where Golith stood straight up?

  • no but thats on youtube aswell

  • yes, same venue.

  • You guys in Europe get some cool old school stuff...nice videos.

  • Nice to see you got this video up. I already have the mud bogs, but it would be nice if you uploaded them anyways.
