In the 2000 election, George W. Bush defeated Al Gore by 537 votes. There were four candidates, besides Nader, that got over 537 votes. You could just as well blame those four candidates for Al Gore's loss.

Your argument for why it's ok that anyone but Nader run for President is ridiculous. You say Nader shouldn't run because he goes all-out in his attacks on Obama? Um, that's exactly why he SHOULD run, because he devotes more energy to bringing up the issues and fighting for the people than anyone else. That's how you get votes, you go out and be pro-active. McKinney needs to step her campaign up an order of magnitude.

As for Kucinich being a "missionary"... I hope that was just poor word choice.

Why do you want Gore to have been Pres? He was for the Iraq sanctions and the resolution by congress during Clinton to topple Saddam. He wasn't an environmentalist until after he lost 2000. Every good thing about him has emerged after he dropped politics. And he's still a hypocrite.

Now you are for Obama, though he's also a war-hawk. He wants to leave troops in Iraq forever to fight "terrorism," and the ones he does withdraw he's sending to Afghanistan.
