he he he he.......Its value 4 money at about $4000. Think about it. A 200m seiko dive watch cost about $200. A 6000m dive watch should cost 6000m/200m x $200=$6000
What an ugly watch. No style or class, just something engineered with a number in mind. I'd rather wear my Swiss Army Divemaster Chrono that still goes beyond a reachable depth, costs less than half and looks a thousand times nicer.
wonderful timepiece for sure! another great watch is the Rolex DeepSea SeaDweller. This COSC model dives nearly as deep (at 16,000 feet), but sports a smaller overall profile and thickness when compared with the CX (for long-sleeve shirt wearers!). On the other hand, the DeepSea is made mostly out of 901 grade steel, though it does have a titanium caseback, and probably weighs more than the CX overall. Another factor is cost. The Rolex is $9,800. The CX sells for a more reasonable $4K.
@dinan545bmw I purchased a Charmex Swiss Military Diver's Watch for $3298.25. No more Rolex watches (I have five for sale). The only problem I have with the Charmex is I've been trying to adjust the watch band all evening, and they don't even offer instructions on how to do this. I suppose I'll hit a jewelry store tomorrow. The watch seems much better than a Rolex DEEPSEA Sea-Dweller at a fraction of the price. Rolex is going to have some serious competition over the next few years.
@munedawg1956 - perhaps. without a doubt, the Charmex is a superb timepiece with equally impressive engineering and technological features. and throw in the very reasonable price, and yes, you definitely have yourself a bonafide winner no doubt. this said, Rolex is Rolex and will always command and have their audience, given their illustrious history, lineage and prestige. im not saying Rolex is better by any means, because other brands are actually even better and you know who they are.

@BrainSalad212 If you ve really really deep you need one, helium molecules penetrate around the edges and the "helium pressure" build up and the crystal of the watch bursts. So you decompress with the helium valve. There are both automatic like this one and manual like the Omega Seamaster Professional.

@munedawg1956 I´d prefer the Rolex DS over this watch anyday and let´s get real here - it´s simply too big, exactly like the shoes of a clown!

@nikkoalpha Oddly enough I love to wear it. It does go deeper than the DeepSea, but let's get real. At these depths who is counting?
