335i is better performer than the e46 M3 in everyway. and the stock turbo system is so underrated. give it a couple years and the mods will be over the top.

@SpeedKlz yea i feel the same way an m car is the shit and all other years the m3 compared to the regular 3 series was untouchable but with a 1000 dollar vishnu tuning chip the 335 is beast and will beat an m in a straight line. thats why bmw is going to 6 cylinder turbos next

I think BMW is going to go back to making 4 cylinder turbos with the 3 series and go back to making inline turbo sixes for the M3s. BMW has already gone back to turbo 8s for the M5s and M6s.

My exact feeling, everyone has rallied around vishnu and that guy was a ricer that drove civics. Look at the fuel maps and the fuel delivery diagrams for vishnu, always starving the engine for fuel 50% of the time.

The M3 is MUCH, MUCH more than a straight line tool. They made it to be the ultimate drivers car. Thats what BMW does.

The new M3 is about jaw dropping performance on all corners, meant for the true driving enthusiast. The 335 is a touring car. No matter how you cut it.

And you are basing this off of what? Even if it did have a bad launch, they were fairly even at the start and then the M3 ROCKED the 335 once they got up there. The start is irrelevant. Here is a video proving you otherwise. Show me a video going the other way and I'll believe it.

of curse the m3 e92 will easily beat any stock 335, the new M3 is even faster than the M3 csl E46, just by a lil bit and the 335 is fast but its only able to keep up with a base E46, all bmw's are great cars the best on the market right now
