We used a big vcr that held the entire tape. That's all there was back then., We used a book called the "Mile Post". It told us where the next gas stations were. Sometimes we filled up and then 20 miles later we had to fill up again just to get to the next station. Nothing but wilderness in between.
cool video, was it made with one of those gigantic vcr tapes recorder type camera? Man they were a pain to manuver around. I heard that there is a sign somewhere that says about entering the highway and that there are is no lodging, repair stations or resturants. do you know if thats true?
Wow, not many get a chance to do this...and not many know of Aubrey, either. How interesting to see that you had a camera back in the early '90s and took it with you...that was "almost" 20 years ago. Craziness.
