Up for consideration as a very close resemblance to this "Ambras" portrait is the Romanian actor Danut Chiriac.His features are quite similar,and he has the slightly olivine skin color too.Since Wladyslaws was of mixed Romanian,Pecheneg/Cuman(Basarab),and Hungarian blood (through the Tolmaj branch on his father's side),and goodness knows what on the distaff side,since Mircea cel Mare fathered Dracul (pere) with an un-named woman of his court.Legitimacy wasn't the issue then as now.
i was thinking of the lead singer of steppenwolf. he is actually from germany and thewn moved to the usa. i must have watched two vh1 movies in the same night. sorry. I just read a book on vlad. he is described as being very stocky with almond shapped eyes. not lanky and thin like chuck.
