I can't say "better than Castlevania I", but where it differs makes it shine in a different fashion. A perfect example of a single company refining an existing masterpiece in such a fashion that it is renewed in a fresh life. Great track, killer game. Thanks for posting this gem.

Simon 1994RD, a track from Contra:Hard Corps. Search it up, you should be... amazed, to say the least.

I don't really agree with that. The Japanese version is nice and all, but there's a certain charm in this version that makes it better than the Famicom version IMO.
