And I remember the EL going down that same hill into Hornell. They pulled it down the hill. Thank you. Great vid. Now the WNYP is lucky to run once a week to Hornell and only four coal trains scheduled which ran all NS as NS Meadeville crews abolished.

I can tell an Alco-got that telltale curved hood! My fave of all being the RS-3.

Looks almost like an HO layout at 1:30. I shot a view like that on the WVNRR that wound up helping me get discovered by someone whose company puts out classic RR DVDs!

Incidently, what highway is that that the RR is paralleling?

i absolutely love alcos! its amazing how much they sound like a steam locomotive when the engins are in sync,hahaha, and sometimes look like it when bellowing such smoke, some of the best locomotives ever built, great video :)
