  • This is one of the many neat antecedents that were around on the jukeboxes and R&B radio in the days before rock and roll officially debuted. Back then people used to do some neat dancing to this stuff in a way so different to what's done now. The girls always seemed to pick up the dance steps out of the air. The guys were left mostly contemplating their two left feet and the girl's sensuous movement. Thanks for preserving a great memory tune.

  • I never knew about this song until I played Mafia 2. When I heard it I started laughing because of how un-PC it is and how this could never be done these days, which is a shame. I HATE PC.

I liked how Mafia 2 was in the 50s (and 40s a little). We need more games take place in the 50s with actual 50s music.

  • Great version, I have this by buddy Knox.

  • I had no idea that the song was about smoking dope.

  • MAFIA 2 !!!!!!

  • cincinati? holey crap thats close to here im from!

  • Heard this none stop while playing Mafia 2.. just wanted to know wtf the lyrics were lol

  • @Malfi0us lol me too. the soundtrack in that game was really amazing. loved the 40's setting more than the 50's tho

  • @Malfi0us Yeah, except Mafia 2 used the Five Keys version. I believe it was done slightly later than this version, but it's just as good in it's own way. It has more of a far east feel to it, and the vocals are deeper. Other than that, there really isn't much difference. : )

  • @Bandaids4ever the five keys version is even better than that

  • @powerbmwm3gtr Well ya know... Whatever. : )

  • love the piano!

  • this is my faveorite charms song this is on my heart right now matthew williams

  • it's hard to describe exactly what it is that brings me back to LTT over and over again. Of course the lyrics are so un-PC that you probably couldn't get the record made today.

I love it (especially the 7th chord when he sings the word "wrong")

  • i love this song, i used to listen to it on the radio, i was born in 47, this is the best

  • @lexiemaree I listened to this on the radio myself, but I won't tell you when I was born, LOL.

    Happy New Year.

  • @Juliaflo

oh stop. i was born in 1959, and i'm proud to know all the hits. :) love the piano on this

  • @lexiemaree Hey I'm 16 but I'm wondering was there the record static on the radio i would love a radio from the 50s
