  • @traceymaech thank you, Tracey. Also for subscribing! I´m glad, you can use some of my tipps and tricks for yourself.

  • beautiful tutorial - thank you so much!

  • @huggawood you´re very welcome!

  • Hello from Canada. If you have not already, I would like to see a drawing of an earth type planet (background of your choice) with you commenting on how you achieve the details. I enjoy your work and keep bringing us the creative videos!

  • @OrandarO First of all, thanks very much for comment and subscribing. I´ve already painted planet earth in april 2011. But that´s only a regular video without any commentary. Another earthlike planet is shown in the "new earth" video. I gotta admit, I never liked painting earth like planets, cause I always get them wrong, somehow. That´s why you find so many rock and gas planets in my paintings. But of course, if you insist, I´ll try it!

  • I love sci-fi,and I always wanted to do sci-fi art. Thanks so much for sharing these tutorials.

  • @lordportico You´re very welcome! I´m happy to see, that they are some kind helpful!

  • There's nothing like looking at a fine man with a sexy voice that has a personality. Beautiful...like the artist. Amazing talent. You have a lot of passion in your work. Even though you say it's a technique, there is always an essence of the artists' passion that is also expressed in their painting like yours. Thank u for sharing your love....

  • @SuperLmer Thank you very much! Sexy voice? I´ve never got that in a coment, before. I personally wouldn´t say that.

Well, my passion, or one could say, my first and only real love, is space. From our planetary neighbours to the far regions. I only feel home, when I look out in the night sky. And for the art, after years of drawing underwater landscapes, dinosaurs, and barely clothed women, in 1999 I finally decided to start "collaborating" with the universe. Thanks again, also for subscribing!

  • WHOA! You're amazing!!!!!!! I want your talent!

  • @shiroidiamante Thank you for watching and comment! There´s actually not very much talent involved in my works. It´s all about technique and some time to practice. That´s why I made all those toturials, so everyone can do it.

  • WOW. that is amazing! Sie sind erstaunlich!!!

  • @BlackLaceLeatherface Vielen Dank, Rachel! Thank you very much! And also thanks for subscribing.

  • wow man you are really inspiring! as a person more than an artist, you seem like an awesome person! i have never wanted to use pastel because i just prefer colored pencil, but now im really inspired! great work man, and please dont make this your last tutorial!

  • @IDontWantYourCereal First of all, thanks for subscribing and comment. I tried to get to your channel, but YT constantly tells me, that your channel isn´t available.

When it comes to toturials, I really don´t know, what more to show. I did rock planets, gas planets, nebulas, galaxies, and even aurora borealis. That covers all, I know myself.

  • @VEHEMENTBLACK Thank you, and thanks also for subscribing! There will be a new video online in a few days.

  • WOW!! This is beautiful!! lt's so awesome that there are cool people out there like you who create such positive videos!

    Bravo!!

  • @LSD25ALICE Thank you for watching! I wouldn´t say, I´m cool, but I sure try to have some positive influence on people.

  • Awesome tutorial!!!!! How do you get the brighter shades of yellow? Do you apply water the the pastel?

  • @davito318 Thanks for watching. It´s all in the video. All colours in pastels come in many shades and tones. For every colour, there are at least 5 or 6 different shades - some lighter, some darker, so it´s not a trick, just another tone of the colour. No, I don´t add water or anything else, it´s just pure colour from the pastel crayons.

  • VERY BEAUTIFUL !!!

  • @MyWitwit THANK YOU!

  • You are very talented :) Thank you for sharing!

  • @xxleahzh You´re welcome. Thank you for watching and subscribing!

  • o.o

  • @MrDHC4 :)

  • Hey, I just started to use this kind of medium in art, and I love it! Thank you so much for these tutorials, and I love your accent. I was wondering, what kind materials do you use?

    Thanks, Funkymonk

  • @XxFunkymonk123xX I paint with soft pastel crayons and sometimes pastel pencils for details. I use black coloured paper and to make the stars stick on the paper, I use plastic foil.

Thanks for watching. I´m glad, I can help with my toturials.

  • @Startwister Thanks for the quick response!

  • @XxFunkymonk123xX You´re welconme! That´s my job.

  • I love your videos and paintings!! We just started a project at school for which I even can use these tutorials and drawings you made (making nebulas etc)! Especially the scratching of the crayon helped me a lot with making stars!!!!! Thanks so much for your videos and showing your awesome paintings!

  • @JumperFrank Awesome. You see, that´s exaclty, what I try to achieve. Just give my viewers the opportunity to create those things for themselves. I really wish, this would happen more often. I´m glad, that my art and toturials can help. Of course, if you still have questions, wich are not answered in my videos, just ask - and maybe recommend some to your buddies...

  • very nice but why you are not going to give more tutorials? Too bad, it is really sad :(

  • @ghap4a As I said in this video, I have told people everything, they have to know about my techniques in creating planets, stars, galaxies and nebulas. Those, who have watched all of my toturials, should be able to paint space art, as I do.

Of course, if I missed something important, I asked people, to tell me.

And of course, there will be some new videos, but no more toturials.

I will present some of my work on an exhibition in autumn, so I will have lots of preperation to do.
