Reading the Bible was what made me realize that the Bible is a book written by Man about God and I don't believe God told them to do the terrible things they did. I believe strongly and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and believe in a Loving God, not a monster. Do yourself a favor, crypticwriteings, pick a Bible College and take three classes; New Testament 101, Old Testament 101 and Christology. Like I'd said, don't take my word for it. Get scholarly textbooks, hint, you won't find them a Berean or any other Christian store - go to a college or univeristy, and do some REAL research.
