The CG animation is pretty cool, but the history is mixed with myth. The History of the Khmer Empire lasted for 600 years. I think a more in-depth documentary-style animation movie that tells about Khmer History of those 600 years would be very suitable.

If u draw dott to dot from angkor vat to the lake's center where i think it use to be a temple comin out of the water then up to the right then so onto the next temple. Sak Yunn for protection, Thai used Khmer letters. When I look at Thai trying to Tatt using Khmer letter, they try so hard but it look like bunch of Kindergarten writing. I can top that at 10. Thais' need to give credit to Khmer people. Their language and writing system derive from the origin of Khmer. I can read and write Khmer. Thai is easy to learn, I can pick it up within a year. When speaking they use alot of low vowels sound. Khmer use high and low vowels sound. Most of Thai words are Khmer words. It easier to understand. It like saying Japanese built the first car not American. That's how we Khmer people feel. Thais' need to be honest and stop twisting history for people later.

Thai numerals are Khmer numerals 100%!! Thais never give credit to Khmer people for using directly Khmer numerals, but claimed as Thai instead!!

I encourage Khmers from abroad to go to Cambodia and invest in the future of Cambodia.With the booming economy in Cambodia not alot of us can afford an acre of land in Phnom Penh,but you can buy land in the countryside where it is still relatively cheap and it will go up in value in no time.When you do go,remember to buy Khmer.Meaning,buy products,foods etc. that are made by the Khmer people. Embrace your culture,you came from an incredible bloodline the Mighty Khmer Empire.We want our land back

Cambodia once powerful ruled of what today are Vietnam, Thailand and Laos.
Cambodia once was known as "Pearl of Asia". Cambodia has very rich culture.
Khmer people are descendants the stone temples builders. Khmer people always have pride to be born as Khmer even once they were almost destroyed by the communist regime.

Khmer Have Great History up to years 1300 after that it suck Khmer king so horny running around married to Koun Yuan ,champ,thai, Now Kampuchea Getting Smaller and Smaller Gone are Kampuchea Krom And recently Hun Sen give two more big Islands off the coast of Cambodia to His Yuan Master days by days Cambodia getting Smaller the thai wanted more and more.

The CG animation is pretty cool, but the history is mixed with myth. The History of the Khmer Empire lasted for 600 years. I think a more in-depth documentary-style animation movie that tells about Khmer History of those 600 years would be very suitable.

Nice folk story about the Ancient Khmer Empire, if only that was true lol.....
Overall, the animation needs more working on, its more of a video game scenario like Rome: Total War; then it is as an animation movie film.

noooooooooooooooooooo, i wanted to see more of this :\ ..hope they create a film of this animation, great acting would be nice too :).. and it should be long. Tell more of the story of it. Flim quality should be like today's movies also. It should be great :D

Simkoneeka.I have been to Cambodia twice. It's still very war torn and extreme poverty.Seems to me it was the Khmer rouge who destroyed Cambodia and no I am not Thai.

Cambodia had been destroyed not only by the KR, but by the Cham, by the Java, by the Viet and by the Siam many many times...
Cambodia even have a province called Siam Reap where the Siam invaders were killed by the Khmers like the grass were under the heavy machines.

The poverty in Cambodia today is just like the poverty in Vietnam and in Thailand. I've been almost every year in Vietnam and in Thailand and I know what the poverty is.
Cambodia is coming back in a good shape slowly but steady.
