Under Prop B, responsible breeders will no longer be allowed to buy & administer their own shots/meds. Necessary shots are already costly--but the law would require breeders to load up all their puppies and travel to the vet for EVERY necessary shot/med--exposing young unprotected puppies to needless travel and diseases at the vet clinics. Many vets charge an office call per visit--more needless expenses for reputable breeders already struggling to provide quality puppies at an affordable price
Missouri Voters--Here is your chance to fight back! Nov is coming and we need your Vote! Let's tell the HSUS where it can shove it's law and regulations in Prop B! Hunters, farmers, pet owners---not just responsible breeders should be VERY concerned. We have the Power to change our future! I value my rights! Do You? Say NO to Large Corporations running America! Vote NO on Prop B!
i dont understand why you hsus people have to stick your noses in hardworking farmers business. if you want cage free eggs for goodness sakes buy them but dont make everyone else have to pay high egg prices because you all are idots just shut up and leave the american farmer alone and dont eat them if you dont like the way they are treated!!!!!
@tnnewholland09 Oh shut up, eggs will cost maybe a 1$ more a carton. like your gonna miss that fucking 1$, you can't even buy eggs I bet cause you spend all your cash on CRACK.
Thank you to everyone for the support of this new legislation. Although California Prop 2 creates a minimal improvement in the lives of factory farm animals, it proves that people recognize the need for compassion to animals.
I just can't believe these videos. I mean the cruelty that is endemic to these factory farm situations. I'm glad HSUS and Mercy for Animals is exposing these crimes. It makes me sick to think the owner of Hallmark Slaughterhouse in Chino lives in a multi-million dollar oceanfront house in Corona del Mar while his workers abuse helpless animals. Plus putting tainted food into the system. Just sickening!

It is a more or less a minimum of what we can be doing, but if we don't vote it through, then what hope do we have for the stricter measures that need to take place later?? Don't let anyone tell you cost is a factor, it's calculated at a penny increase per egg if anything! There's no reason against and a lot for! The slaughter industry has to slow its roll and unfortunately it won't listen without statewide measures being enforced first.
Minimum? Prop 2 requires five feet per laying chicken (enough room to not TOUCH ANOTHER BIRD while extending wings). Five feet times 19.9 million laying chickens, that is not a minimum. It also outlaws most existing cage free operations, this is a vegan proposition, they want NO EGGS! A penny per egg is the extra transportation cost to consumers to ship in eggs from out of state and Mexico once the CA egg industry is out of business. Read the CA Davis study.
Mmm-hmmm... those subversive vegans are at it again...! Even if that did make a bit of sense, there are many more effective methods of "attack" that would get at least the vegetarians also on their side. All the proposed law says is "'fully extending limbs' means, in the case of egg-laying hens, spreading both wings without touching other hens." You got the not touching part right, but what the hell type of steroid-fed hens have you seen that have five-foot wingspans?! Plus farms have six years
I just hope people don't go buying into that "humane slaughter" crap that people usually buy into. For all I care, there are always several isolated cases where "humane farms" are no different from factory farms. With the exception of antibiotics and slightly cleaner of course. Same shit. As a meat-eater myself, I hafta confess.

HSUS does not SUPPORT or is AFFFILIATED WITH local humane society shelters as their name may suggest. The true humane societies
are struggling everyday taking care of these helpless animals. HSUS could fund and run ALL humane societies in the US. It makes
me sad how they spend the donations of unsuspecting donors. Only 4 cents of every dollar donated goes to hands-on caring of
animals. Proof? Look at their public tax return posted on their site and do the math.
No more Wayne Parcelle!

Well they should do more than just let the animals have room to move. They should let them roam free in a field.
