Funny you should mention calm winds, I just came back from crashing my belt cp in 15-20mph winds... it was facing down wind away from me and I lost control and it crashed from maybe 12m up. I think the main problem was that I was having to reduce the throttle so much to try to bring it down as there was a ton of transitional lift... when its fixed (just under £50) I really need to get the idle up curve setup. :(. I'll post the vid on my channel in a few days.
yeah i had a belt cp b4... when i was flying in about 10mph winds it went really high (about 50 meters i think) but then when i tried to bring it down i had to reduce the throttle alot till i lost my headspeed and it went down like a rock... luckly the whole kit only cost about 44 pounds (around 220 malaysian dollars)
idel curve setup is easy all u need is the pitch gauage and set it up :)
I've been flying RC HEli's for about a year now and I just recently got into the T-rex 600. Its a blast. So anyway i'm tired of telling people I show this video to that this is not C.G. Damn good flying. Thanks for sharing.

yes, blades are up to 110mm longer, engine is almost double to 15cc, standes about an inch and half taller

jeez.... seems very stable... no wonder, its huge. Still gonna go for a 450 as a first CP heli (flying coax + sim for now).
As always, amazing flying by Alan, I'd lose orientation within seconds!
