  • @SmoothCinnamonX your SO WRONG YOU FUCKING DUMBASS. ARE YOU SERIOUS??. I NOW ALOT TRANNY WHO ARE 100% NATURAL. SO AM I .... ALTERING YOUR BODY DOES NOT INCLUDE TAKING HORMONES ALTERING YOUR BODY MEAN TO PERFORM PLASTIC SURGERY. AND SHIT LIKE THAT. YOU ARE A VERY CLOSE MINDED MOTHERFUCKER WHO NEEDS TO GET OFF VIDS ABOUT TRANSWOMEN YOUR SO WRONG ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY. NATURAL BEAUTY IS THE WHOLE AND REAL BEAUTY THAT WEAR ALL THIS FAKE BEAUTY STEAMS OF OF. YOUR VERY CLOSE_MINDED I HATE PEOPLE LIKE U.

  • uggh so stupid .. your HEALTH is most important hwo can u let someone superglue stuff sigh sigh sigh

  • I wanna get pumpded I have no hips....if any of you girls know someone in nyc who pumps let me know please...............

  • Ive had my silicone stay soft, never moved and has been lovely for over 20 years, I love it! Face, hips, ass and breast work. Never have had a problem, why? Small amounts over years and a good silicone product, trust and know your quote doctor!

  • So what silicone are they injecting?

if thats silicone caulk then it hardens very fast and should not leak anywhere. However I am puzzled how it is possible to bear hardening process, because it produces vinegar which will ho into bloodstream and ma damage surrounding cells.

injecting silicone oil seems like most stupid thing to do ever since that is nastiest substance on earth.

dual component silicone should be completely safe because it hardens safely and will not leak or move anywhere.

  • I most definitely agree with all of this video...I am a stuck in a male's body also and have been so isolated by my hetro life and not knowing how to get out that it has made my life like a prison.

Not knowing where to turn for help is a miserable existence. A video like this is just another piece of the puzzle and is good information. I had considered some alternative meds too but was warned away. Thank goodness these gurls have come out and give others the benefit of their experience.

  • Some these transgendered women look better than real women lol

  • An institution? For trying to obtain medication to help become who you really are as a person? Wow I guess the entire world needs to be institutionalized then including myself...

  • im a trans-woman who has had to resort to black market hormones because i cannnot afford a doctor.ive been on them for a little over a year with good results.its all about educating yourself before proceeding.research and deduce and be realistic.good video!

  • @justout75 You are so right sweetheart, god bless you

  • really cool, are there any other educational videos on being transgender or any other good youtube videos? Its so interesting!

  • I hope these women are doing well today, stop the hate! They're beautiful

    women! Stephanie R is gorgeous..

  • @jjmick9 Amen to "stop the hate" ! Why are others so concerned about those who are not like them...they do not understand the concept of the rainbow at all that there are so many different shades of human beings in this huge world and it would be a much more beautiful place to live if everyone could smile at one another and try to lift them up rather then tear them down.

Peace and Love to you, to us all.

  • Transphobics should get a life. Leave trans people alone!

  • @TheOowaoowa Not so much "leave trans people alone" but understand and accept them and all others.

  • I have undergone over 12 years of hormone therapy, many silicone procedures, and many surgical procedures to enhance my appearance. I have an image of the woman I envision myself to be and continue to strive to this image. It is not unrealistic to want curves if it better helps me to identify with my own body.

  • Fabulous documentary that I just shared with my friends on FaceBook. I think many young, or women just coming to terms with their gender identity can benefit from the messages delivered here. Although it was recorded many years ago, it is still pertinent to today's transgender woman.

  • Ok, the intro was sensitive, factual etc. UNTIL the part where he says "Not all transgendered ppl want to change their bodies"....ummm, 'scuse me? Isn't that what being trans is all about? Silly. Because I don't care what nobody say, there ain't no such thing as "natural beauty"!!

  • @SmoothCinnamonX msvamplatex ~ I disagree, I know many trans women with no cosmetic surgery who are naturally beautiful. Being trans does not mean you HAVE to modify your body. Society has made us believe that in order 2 be accepted as women we need to modify our bodies to be socially acceptable. Not only do I know many Trans women w/ no surgery with natural beauty, I also know plenty of trans women w/ surged beauty.

  • @msvamplatex Ok, I do feel what you're saying on one level, being a t-girl who's had no surg to my face at all and possessing what some call natural beauty - BUT the thing is, taking mones in and of itself is still a modification of our looks. I have simply never met a t-girl who hasn't done ANYTHING at all: no mones, no surg, etc. And really we're no different from regular girls in that the choice to enhance one's looks is personal. :)

  • @SmoothCinnamonX ~ Not every trans woman chooses to modify their bodies...I as the poster of this video agree with his statement.

  • wow, love this doc thanks for posting it very educational.

i know that going to see a Dr to get treatment here in Australia is better becos most Dr will just say yes but you have to of cause look the part and you have to really pass not like a girl but more of tranny as well but if you look like real cross dresser that just say no, i guess they go by face value

  • I can relate. I was self medicating for a bit over a year. I told my Doc & she suggested that I went off right away. I tried and went right back due to withdraw symptoms. She referred mento a specialist. She also told me to stop right away. I told her that I had read that u shouldn't quite so sudden because it was bad. She replied: "You are a man so don't worry, if you were a woman I would then worry." About six months later I'd to spent a week in a psych unit to treat depression. The shrinks t

  • I think all up and coming Transwomen need to watch this.

  • i respect if a person feels they where born a female or male, BUT i also think it's important for them to do all the steps including the therapy, just to make sure your ready for the change, these pumping parties are beyond dangerous they can really have you disfigured, because the silicon hardens and the only to get it out is for doctors to literally pull back your skin and scrape it out, and even then it's not going to get every partical, so the girls need to be careful

  • This kind of thing needs to be made more public. I do date a transgendered woman right now and it amazing how in this day and age how ignorant people are. I live in Texas which has to be the MOST ignorant state in the union. My gf can easily pass for female, but is open about telling people she was born male. This has lead to all kinds of harrassment and threats of violence. It seems a lot of Transgendered women are seen and NOT always heard. :( This has to stop!

  • @rang3r34 I think its an ego thing with people. we are barely away from smashing eachother over the heads with clubs in caves. Hating anyone because of ANY personal choices they make that only effects them is stupidity in my opinion.

  • @StevenLaniernews Too true and well said my Good Sir!!

  • If I were born a male but felt exactly how I felt now as a woman... I'd want to change my body to match who I felt I was.

  • @whazupsuckafish we were born like this. It SUCKS we were born with our minds not matching our bodies. you dont know how lucky you are to be able to look in the mirror and know that what's staring back at you is correct. you're truly blessed, and truly privileged to be able to do that.

  • GIRLS COME TO SF

  • i think this is an issue that needs to be talked about. We do need to set up programs so that trans people can safely get hormons & other medications to help them in their process of change.

  • That is so true

Im going throught this mess now

My doctor is playin games. . .My location is D.C if anyone knows where to get hormons plz let me know signed DeDi. . .To all my girls plz be safe

  • @ GURL YOU SHOULD MOVE TO SAN FRANCISCO

  • Is there a website I can talk to anyone to get help? because I live at my house age 15- no job. and on top of that going to school. please if anyone knows just say the word :) thnx

  • I just happened to come across this video while surfing Youtube. Very informative; I wish documentaries like this were shown in schools. In a perfect world, I suppose

  • The West Indians need to get over it. They're not in the islands anymore, and this is America. They obviously came here for a reason, to adopt OUR ways. As a Cherokee, I agree with the old way of however you live is who you are. If you identify as a man, you're a man, and if as a woman, you're a woman.

  • i hate when people judge. just because we don't totally udnerstand doesn't mean we're right or wrong. god bless all of us.

  • OMG! This breaks my heart, I have tears steady flowing for them. I hate to see anyone suffer because they are so desperate to make their outside match their inside. It's a shame people can't recognize the extreme lengths that these women will go to just to feel complete, and then say that they aren't serious! What? Are you kidding me? They are very serious! To "pass" may mean survival for them, to get a job, a partner, a place to live without prejudice, survival!

  • Whenever I hear things like people going to a black market & such, it just makes me think of 1 thing only. Such people are not 100% serious about this process. Otherwise, they wouldn't be rushing like this. They'd instead take their time & invest the money where it's needed. Which is through a clinical process by a institution that specialize in such transitional needs.

To say they're dead serious because of their rash actions is idiotic. You have 1 body & 1 life, take care of it the right way.

  • silicone injections seem like a bad idea.

I think it is nuts that people in NY can't find a doc to give them hormone treatment. They aren't looking hard enough IMO. It is nuts to take drugs like that with no medical supervision.

  • @enigmatically

There are no standard federal regulations in terms of whether or not someone can be approved for Hormone Replacement Therapy. It's determined somewhat by state laws but mostly by the clinic's discretion.

So, there's the potential for a lot of discrimination against transexual and transgendered folks. If there is protection or oversight committee to watch out for transgender folks, then who do you file a complain to or seek help from?

  • Yeah but I'd bet that Manhattan has a large transgender community so I'd think there'd be adequate resources for a trans person to find official medical treatments as opposed to having to resort to the black market.

  • I think that video was made a while back. Would you happen to know?

As far as with resorting to the black market, I personally can relate to the urgency and immediacy to want to physically Transition. It's easy to be discouraged and not try to be patient and look for resources.

All I know is that we both are on the same page - that people should find the healthiest route. Transitioning should be considered a medical necessity and not elected treatment. That would radically change things.

  • Well I'm not convinced silicon injections should be considered medically necessary. But these women should not have to resort to the black market for hormone treatment. That process is not instant, and as much as people want instant gratification they have to be realistic. Silicon injections just seem incredibly risky to me, and I don't know why someone would take the medical risks just to look curvy when they can use pads or something until the hormone treatments kick in.

  • I never heard of "pumping" before! It makes me want to cry that girls would fo something so dangerous!! If you are looking at this and considering doing it, listen VERY close to what she is saying on here! Pulmonary embolism is just one of the terrible things that can happen.

  • it's bullshit that people are so awful to transgendered people. they fear the unknown. if you get to know people who are different you will find that they are, in fact, NORMAL PEOPLE. if you talk to a woman in the body of a man, you find it weird that they are physically men: they are very obviously women.

  • Yeah it is ridiculous. I have dated a couple trans women (I'm a bi woman) and they are normal people they just have to deal with a brain/body gender conflict, which sucks for them. I think the problem people have is that some of the trans girls who waited til they were 50 or something look masculine and since they can't pass very well they stand out in the crowd and the public perceives all trans women to have a lot of cognative dissonance. But a lot of them you'd never know if they didnt say.

  • Just FYI....Those of you who want to use this as a platform of negativity, ignorance and discrimination will be filtered out. That is a gaurantee do not waste my time or yours!

  • PS thanks to those who do have something postive to say. ; ^ *

  • I think this is fascinating!

  • sweety whats negative about this, its about what people are going through in everyday life. I think its a platform to educate people, especially in areas in the "GHETTO"

  • by the way it's DeParis the woman in this documentary

  • this is another reason why the US is behind.....everyone says they want to live the "american dream" isn't that being able to be who you are without being afraid of repercussions? In Thailand, if a child is thought to be transgendered, the parents will treat them as the opposite gender and give them hormones, etc. its so unsettling that in the year 2009 people still have to go to these lengths to feel accepted(i am pre-op, pre-hormonal)

  • It's usually mandatory that you see a gender therapist before getting estrogen to make sure you aren't doing it just for sex reasons, but you truly want to live as the other gender. The doctors weren't doing anything wrong by not giving it to them without them seeing the therapist.

  • trannies in southeast asia were lucky coz people from this side of the planet accepts and treat them right just like anyone else.

  • Transgendered women are beautiful human beings..

  • @jjirish thank you =] i will go to bed with a smile on my face!

  • @jjirish SOME LOOK BETTER THEN REAL WOMEN

  • they should have trans surgeries and treatments on credit

  • Everyone I know ran up a Credit Card, I got bad Credit. Too bad, huh?

They often owe this money too!

    Figure that one out!

    ;)

  • people dont understand whe you get pumper that silicone my look good

now but in time it will droop & the more you get pumped the more it will droop & look messy it's really dangerous & i owuldn't recomend it to anyone

  • Its scary to see what lengths people will go to because they feel uncomfortable with their bodies, especially those who are transgender. I hope that this video has reached/does reach young transgender people who are just beginning to consider transitioning, so that they realize that they need to find professionals to help them along and that it is a process that takes years to go through.

  • the medical community needs to watch this.

  • Right on STAND UP for a CAUSE....

    Im with it...

I LUV trans woemn they are soo SEXY...

  • only the sexy ones are sexy.

  • ummmm... who wouldnot want to take hormones?they do so much more than grow breasts. go sit down. that Brava pump just stretches tissue and in a genetically male body w/out the influence of estrogens it is useless cause the basic breasts structure is lacking. So girls, take all the mones you can!!! U wanna be a woman or not??

  • Ive done both horomones and silicon on the black market' It is scary cause i just got pumped three times in breast in two weeks and im feeling pain in left breast like a strained muscle. So don"t know if that has to do with it. Just be careful.

  • aye..i just got my cheeks pumped last friday. god help me

  • Not trying to scare you but no matter how good something comes out, usually over time the silicone migrates and looks droopy. But I think if you want in the future, there are doctors that can remove it little by little. Just do some research. Goodluck!

  • This was excellent. I am a gay male, never wanted to be a women, but I knew so many who have now lost thier lives due to pumping parties. This is excellent!

  • My advice would be: start as young as you can UNDER MEDICAL SUPERVISION... change your doctor if necessary. I say this because at my age the effect of hormones hasn't been 'great,' but I would never have contemplated the use of industrial silicones/solvents = HORRENDOUS or what...

  • When I was 15 yrs old I was too young to get hormones so I bought them off the black market & now I have a bone disease, girls be very very careful !

  • wow every transgender woman needs to watch this b4 thinking of non prescribed hormones

  • In the early 60's and 70's my cousin use to be a big time dealer and at age 12 I was getting my hormones from him to about age 14. I was extremely luckly of not have any type of medical problems.

  • vous êtes sublimes !!! bravo à vous les filles !

  • I Almost Got Pumped Thank Goooddddd I Didn't

  • Excellent advice from these women. I've seen too many people make rash decisions as if they had a deadline to meet. Slow down, think things out. Thanks for posting this.
