  • Great vid but really got good laugh from the bra hanging on laundry closet door ;-)

  • That pistol is nice. Where did u find it.

  • Great review I think you helped sell me on the taurus i want a kimber or springfield but im like you i dont see myself paying that much for a pistol if I was going to spend that money id buy me a better rifle

  • Do some damn laundry instead of making videos. haha!!!

  • Shoot that damn Cat! nice vid man

  • have 2 Taurus 1911s, I put about 1k rounds through each. no issues. Love it.

  • Kimber 1911 warranty really sucks ! how is Taurus 1911 warranty ?

  • @chapinfeliz Taurus offers a lifetime warranty. Lifetime of the gun, not the original owner.

  • LOL. I like your tee shirt.

  • you should use that cat to clean your gun.

  • I love how he threw the cat! lol

  • @BrandonSaldana BRO ILL THROW U.

  • @tronclay Good luck my friend.lol. Is that cat your cousin or something?

  • Do your laundry. Nice pistol

  • Kimber sucks total ass, I'd take a pair of PT's before I'd take a Kimber.......Oh, and that cat looks like it's been doing a number on your house....LoL!!

  • nice pistol,taurus makes good pistols.good price,reliable and accurate

  • good vid. thanks. its a badass looking gun

  • Badass thinking about buyin one, gotta love that dual tone

  • Comment removed

  • Hows the 1911 doing so far? I'm thanking about buying one.

  • I have the exact same pistol and i love it....its a great gun for the price ive never had any problems out of it and its really accurate i get good groupings from this gun everytime i shoot it and you cant beat the lifetime warranty....btw like the grips i got grim reaper grips for mine

  • Shoot the fucking cat with the Taurus....lol

  • do your laundry

  • Taurus??? woow.... get an true American 1911

  • I agree, the 1911 is a fine pistol...really feels and shoots well and has that power.

  • don't worry about hollow points they function perfectly in 1911s but to tell you the truth ball ammo is all you need for 1911s

  • for the price you cant beat a 1911, i love mine, over 100 rounds out of it and never a problem!

  • damn you have a clean house... hahahaha jk nice taurus tho

  • aaahahaha that is cat hilarious!! btw thats the nicest pt.1911 Ive ever seen, never saw the 2tone

  • good job on this vid! if ur happy w/ur choice of firearms, that's the only thing that matters. if only 1 firearm brand was "the best" (whatever that means), then there would b only 1 firearm manufacturer! ppl can buy the firearms that suit them & their budgets. taurus makes good weapons that won't bust the average person's wallet/budget. good luck w/ur pt1911!

  • I just purchased one of these aswell. I love it. I looked at many different .45's and hands down this was the best choice I could have made. Trying to stay around $600 this gun is as good as many of the $1,000 models.

  • I just purchased a Taurus PT1911AL and it is awesome. It is every bit as accurate and reliable as the Sringfield or Kimber models and I wouldn't trade it.

  • video was actually helpful, im going to buy this gun

  • your such a bitch clean your nasty house the cat got more heart then you

  • must be laundry day.... yer old lady must have big guns herself, by looking at the bra hanging on the closet door..........

  • Taurus is a good gun Dude. I have a couple of them and I love them. I wiould say "cheap" more like good value. They had issues a long time ago, but I bet the first Ford wasn't that great either.

  • Great gun bro.I put 2700 rnds thru the one I had!never jammed.Hell I didn't even clean it four two months and the bastard still fired like it was new. I did part ways with it and give it to my bro who didn't have a hadngun. So I know it has a great home and respectable person to take care of it. as I want to go buy another one. Just haven't done it yet. Good luck with your gun and ur cat is funny bro!lol

  • man the one thing I hate about it is the ambi safety...

  • $575 for the blued version here in South Texas

  • bla,bla, bla............

  • I own a Taurus PT1911 .45 and i did research on it before i bought it. People said it was a horrible gun and that Taurus was a shitty company. But it over all it is a really beautiful, well put together weapon.

  • @X360GameplayVideos People can't get over the fact Taurus used to suck years ago when they started...just like ALL companies...but have come around to make really good guns

  • @SpykeZ0129 Everyone exept Browning.

  • 449.99 in huntsville, AL for these

  • we are paying 545.00 for ours total.

  • Taurus makes excellent firearms for the money. How do you like this 1911? That cat loves you haha.

  • I have over 2,000 rounds through a PT1911 without a single failure! They are a fine 1911!

  • Here in Mass the retards who make our laws disallow us from owning any (new) taraus models.

  • @FreemanLambda I live in Nashua and its fine here.

  • I have a Taurus PT92 and its great. Taurus may be cheaper but they make a great product. I have been looking at get that same 1911.

  • "Mauricio planned revenge against his rude master, and planned taking shooting lessons".

  • Taurus makes fine weapons. Learn the weapon, you'll never look back.

  • i have one...carry it,hunter with it,sleep with it cheat on my girlfriend with it...FUCKING LOVE IT! i havnt had any of the problems ppl say thay have,1000's of rounds, best 600 i have ever spent period

  • Dude I like your video, and kind of think in the same way concerning the Taurus, but please get the Brazier out of the laundry before you start recording, either your mother or your wife will be very upset with your ##$ because a large number of people now know the size of her upper echelon.....

  • The only problem I have with the PT1911 is that there's no problem

  • @snoopsnoop5 2 negatives makes a positive :)

  • @snoopsnoop5 i just noticed i replied to you on 2 videos, you must be looking to buy this gun huh?

  • @SpdDemon69 Hahaha....I already did and it's pretty cool gun, I felt a 99 years old when I started firing it up...only issue I had is too much tension on the mag spring but after I grease, oil it and 200 rounds into it, I can tell you it could be my next CW of choice.....

Did you get one yourself? I tried to get a colt or a kim but dude $1k was too much...

  • @snoopsnoop5 well right now im torn...ruger sr9, in ss or black, cant decide, and then also maybe the sr40. or, the taurus 1911 in duotone. i cant make up my mind. i dont know how long they'll make one gun, i dont know iftheyre gonna make a sepcial edition 1911 for the 100th year anni. favorite gun for me is the 1911 though

  • @SpdDemon69 I heard they will, but nothing would be cheaper...it gonna be more like "special editions" that you would pay couple Ks to get 'em...

I'm not a ruger guy, can't help you but I would prioritize a pt1911 over any SR..

  • @snoopsnoop5 the ruger sr9 is one of the best 9mm's out there. and .45s are expensive to shoot

  • @SpdDemon69 i know the comment is out dated but I must say this simply is not true. I love ruger dont get me wrong they make amazing weapons, however working at my LGS I get to play with ALL the new and old stuff and the SR9 is far from the best I doubt it would even make a "Real" list of the top 10

  • @TheJmikesell Reading owns you?? I said, out from my opinion and perso al prefference, that the sr9 is one of the best 9mm out there. I love it, reliable, nice 1911 like style, and it looks good. Sigs are ugly too me, glocks just have a bunch of idiots following there cause, and so on. I think the best handgun ever is the 1911. :) what would u think is better than the sr9?

  • @SpdDemon69 good firearm. I think on terms of what is good, not based off of personal oppinion, the Glocks, Springfield XD and XDM, the SIGs, The HKs and the S&W M&Ps <im still on the fence about this one. Are all better guns than the SR9. Now don't get me wrong the SR9 is not a bad gun by any means (though I do think the trigger is horrible) but I was simly replying to the fact that you said it was one of the best. Again no offence meant. BTW this is my work comp so thats why the name is diff.

  • @jasonquest its all good. funny you shold mention the xdm. i just got a compact bi tone in .40. put 200 rounds through it and the slide failed to lock back on 90% of the empty mags. i even had 1 or 2 fail to battery. the small mag works well but the reg mag with the xtension is just cheap. you can feel the xtension piece move and wiggle, it doesnt fit tight, and when you load it in it almost always pinched me. the sr9 has everything that the guns you listed have. but 1911 is my fav hands down :)

  • @SpdDemon69 I love 1911's. The XDm sounds like your follower is messed up. I dont care for the compacts either I'm a full size gun guy myself. I have shot all the guns listed above, none of them FTF (including the SR9) but the accuracy and trigger pull is where the other ones come out ahead. I truely can't say much about the reliability of an SR9 since I have never actually tested it. But I would imagine its something along the lines of an HK, If you drop it in sand it needs cleaned b4 it fires.

  • @jasonquest The SR9 is just as reliable as any other firearm out there. I have put over 1,500 rounds through mine and never had a problem. Ive shot any type of glock, HKs, 1911s, MPs, XDs..and the SR9 will compete with any of them. The only problem i have with the SR9 is the safety on it, just my opinion. But coming from someone with experience, you cant go worng with a SR9.Plus, i think the trigger is better on a SR9 than any of the glocks, again, just my opinion. We all have different opinions

  • taurus 1911 has very high reviews, i plan on buying one in the next month or so for work

  • Nice Video! Don't apologise for being a Taurus owner. Some Springfields 1911 are made in Brazil by INBEL. They are very reliable.

Lots of good guns are made in USA. But there are lots of garbage with the USA stamp. Just true. Taurus is a Forging Industry. Everything from the screw to the slide are made by them. Can't go worng with Taurus. I have a 24/7 Pro in 9 mm running flawlessly sine day 1. More than 1500 rds of all kinds. Brazil is not far from here. Not too expensive to import from. :)

  • @lhusby YES thank you, I've got to convince A LOT of guys that some Springfields are in fact made in Brazil, I was even told that colt does the same thing, they didn't want to admit it in order to keep the price as high as it is now. the only 1911 that I don't know about YET is the Kimber 1911s

  • KILL THE CAT!!!!

  • okay, you say its cheaper because it was made in Brazil. Let me just make the point, I bought my 1911 brand new and 100% American Made (made in Massachusetts) for 500 bucks.

Its a plain jane 1911 GI type made by Auto Ordnance, nothing fancy but she runs well..

  • I have this same gun and not only is it a great bang for the buck but its great period. It comes with all the bells and whistles out of the box and built as well as any of the top 1911 builders. I know this because i've owned just about all of em at 1 point or another. Fired 1000 rounds with zero jams and unbelievable accuracy and seems to have less recoil then others. Great gun and you saved anywhere from 200-1000 bucks for somethin that shoots and looks just as well. Now u got ammo money!

  • KILL THE CAT! (funny)

  • nice!

  • Nice bra hanging on the door. I kept waiting for the topless lady to walk down the hall, but it never happened. :(

  • Is this guy stoned? He seems intelligent at times, then rambles on about his cats. NOT a person I would want training people to use firearms.

  • 5* FOR THE FLYING CAT!!!!! lol

  • 4:11 lol kitty got owned

  • whats hanging from the door hook ?

  • nice shirt

  • Just picked one up and I love it. Thanks for the review, it helped me decide to purchase it. Vid by nutnfancy was great too. Take care, be safe.

  • id love to rob this fools house

  • congrats o n the gun man, the truth is since you say you are new to 1911, onyl one thing matters, MIM, mold injected metal, which is seen even in kimbers, Springfield, SW and most high end 1911 makers, yours at least has a price to reflect the shortcut to making the gun and is a great deal colt and Sig are the only 2 manfctrs who machine each peice and they cost alot I have a few i should know, enjoy your gun an when you have money get a colt or a sig, last a life time.

    happy shooting.

  • Got one of the first ones that came out, and never given me trouble. Cant beat it for the price. Wont be disapointed.

  • Shoot the cat bro lol! lmao Great vid man! Shoot the cat dude, the cat was a good prop! Nice good and good vid dude!lol

  • i own glocks and sw mp 40 and also a taurus 24/7 pro in 45acp its a awesome gun!!! ive had zero problems with it and i think peer pressure would be the only reason a person wouldnt like their guns!!! i mean ill never own a high point but taurus like u said makes all their own parts and also the machines that makew the parts!! thats quality work right there son!! haha! u r sooo buff! wanna hump? maybe a cat?

  • $600 for a 1911?!?! shit, i'll take it!!!

  • @radioguy55 A Norinco 1911 is $400

  • @XXDemonXSlayer13XX wow, i may look into one of those. are they any good though?

  • @radioguy55 Well Norinco 1911's are made in China and the US stopped importing Norinco guns. But if you ever found one I would definitely buy one since they have great reviews. They work just as good as a kimber 1911.

  • @XXDemonXSlayer13XX any idea why they stopped importing them?

  • @radioguy55 i am not exactly sure why, but i heard rumors that Norinco sold weapons to enemy countries or something.

  • @XXDemonXSlayer13XX well, we've been known to do that in the past. it's kind of a dumb reason though.

  • 1911s are probably the most beatiful and smooth using guns of all ttime.

  • i agree with him, anything over a $1000 im going to buy a dam 308 ar10. Anybody says i can keep a 2in group with a 1911 at 50 yards come on i dont know about you but im going to grab a rifle.

  • Please do a review on that bra in the background. Perhaps a tutorial or demonstrate on its user how it works.

  • Good gun by value

  • ha flying cat thats awesome also nice gun

  • What else does a man need? Guns and black pussy!

  • How much is this gun?

  • @Mr291229 my gun store has them for $499, but reg prices for blued are ab $550-600. if you want stainless, that adds ab $80. another $50 or so for the rails. but thats just what i've seen, so you may be able to find it cheaper.

  • wtf are these guys talking about? i'm from Brazil and we don't fucking support iran. damn, people really dont know what kind of shit they are talking about........

  • Jordan- what was the Kimber you mentioned you really like. Have a Jericho 941 amd a Ruger P100. Just started shooting the 1911's and really like the Kimber's. Think that's what I want to go with. Respect your opinion. Thanks

  • sheeba106........He asked to keep the bitching at a minimum........We get it you know guns alright but hey,I know guns too and you dont see me trying to prove my knowledge over a simple vid of a gun just tryin to inform people about a 1911 that could possibly be a good starter pistol,so do him a favor and just shut the hell up! Oh and dont make a comment about me not knowing about guns because ive been in the special forces for a long time and i dont just shoot guns.......I kill people with emm

  • good review.so what did you think? im looking at a 45 acp or a wheel gun in 45.scale of 1-10 whats the word.thxs

  • way to blow money ona cheap piece of shit

  • Why not Glock 17?

  • @afg96 bc he wanted an orange, not an apple .the glock 17 is a polymer framed 9mm. this 1911 is a steel framed 9mm. I know beuty is in the eye of the beholder, but most people find glocks ugly, even if they like them (i'm one of those, i have 2). Where as the same people will find the 1911 much better looking.

  • @OhshitPositive Minor correction: Glock 17 is 9mm, taurus pt1911 is .45 ACP. You're right about Glocks though, I really want one, but I just can't over how ugly they are.

  • @rate5not1 lol, thanks. Before I bought my 17, I couldn't stand how they looked. but after putting thousands of rounds through my 17 and 19 combined. they are quite pretty if i say so myself. I can pick one up after firing 500 rnds with no cleaning, pop in a mag, and still have 100% reliability. plus the $8 price tag on 9mm ammo in my area is a plus (compared to $19.99 for .45acp)

  • @OhshitPositive Same here, I'm only considering 9mm pistols at the moment. I have an FNP9 and S&W 5906. I thought about getting either FNP45 or S&W M&P 45, but factoring in the cost of ammo, it's just not worth it for me. So next on the queue for me is probably a CZ 75B... then maybe a Glock.

  • @rate5not1 you may already have, but look into reloading. you can reload 1000 .45 acp for ~$225. instead of buying 1000 for ~$400

  • @OhshitPositive Don't really know much about it. I figure I can shoot cheap 9mm & .223 for now and worry about reloading when I get more serious. But I will start reading more about it in the mean time. Thanks for the suggestion.

  • sweet video dude. im lookin into getting my first pistol. im definetly gonna get the beretta m46(i've always like those) but i want a good 45. I might end up getting the taurus not only for its price, but its beautiful finish. My only question: does the full length guide rod rattle at all, or come loose during shooting? i've had that problem with previous 1911's. BTW sweet Punisher grips. Those really add to the pistol.

  • Can't wait till you make a video for your Wilsons!!

  • WITH THAT 1911 THOSE GRIPS REALLY DO LOOK GOOD. HEY, IF THE GUN IS 'CHEAPER', JUST WORK ON IT AND GETTING WORKING LIKE YOU WANT IT. THAT IS WHAT THIS HOBBY IS ALL ABOUT. I HAD TO WORK ON MY KIMBER TO GET IT TO WERE I WANTED IT (I GOT THE "CHEAP" KIMBER). GOT A ROCK ISLAND ARMORY 31/2 INCH AND ALL STEEL. DID SOME WORK ON THE 'ROUGH' MACHINE WORK, BUT THAT IS BECAUSE I'M FUSSY. WATCH-OUT FOR THE 1911 FEVER. SEMPER FI.

  • nice pistol oh and nice cat you should of let it do the filming for you it seemed to want to

  • nice gun man!

  • So thats why my Duo-Tone came with Novaks!! I thought Taurus was just switching to Novaks! When new racking the slide felt about the same as my Glock 36. After cleaning it good, racking the slide was smooth as glass. Taurus ships them very dirty inside. Out of the 15 rifles, shotguns, & handguns I own, my Taurus PT 1911 has the SWEETEST damn trigger of ANY!! Only problems had at all was with a Wilson Combat mag. Factory mags no problems at all. PT 1911 you get more than you paid for.

  • Nice gun. Mine's an Auto Ordinance made in 1943. Pretty much as basic as they come since it was an army gun. Haven't ever had it jam, only problems I've had with it ever are ejecting shells. Every once in a while one of the shells might not fully eject. Nothing big though.

  • then go fuck you self your son of a bitch

  • if you want the best 1911 get a Kimber bro

  • Your cat is hilarious.

  • looks like a nice gun. the finish on it is badass. let me know how it shoots.

  • Taurus's PT92's are probly the best line they make. very nice pistols

  • hey, man i've owned a couple different 1911-like springfield 1911-a1 loaded, firestorms, lama, kimbers. now only 1 1911. I think you get what you pay for. you can't go wrong with taurus.

  • you can tune the trigger with an allen wrench to any poundage u want

  • dont worry about the cat you got a nice 45 right in your hand....lol ,but serious i miss some features about the gun you could talk about

  • LOL the cat

  • Very nice pistol, and the grips are kool!

  • do your laundry

  • im geting an kimber eclipse ii for my b day

  • who the hell cares man. would you rather own a kimber for 3 times the cost of a taurus. Dude I got to tell yall i dont got that kind of money.

  • Young man, cats are really good in Chop sui.

Otherwise, thank you for the 1911 from Taurus. Let us know what you think once you take it out and give it a test drive with a variety of ammo.

  • Yep, I like your gun. Every man should own at least 1 1911. I think I'm going to build a Springfield Mil Spec out with sights, trigger, seer, slide and hammer job because all the 1911's I've seen with all that come with checkered front strap and rear magwell and I prefer it not to be checkered. I also like black with rubber hogue grips. Enjoy your cool gun dude.

  • my I want this gun so badly..to bad it ain't CA legal.

  • @evilPERSON2009 why isnt this ca legal

  • nice cat! lol! and nice gun... i got my self a xd 45 acp springfield... and im looking forward to buy a taurus ....pt 1911 is a good option.

  • Nothing wrong with a Taurus bro.

Nice gun. Not a huge Punisher fan per se but are there places to find custom grips like that that you'd be willing to share?

  • Ebay, and google my friend, there are sites dedicated to 1911's. As far as Taurus, they have be to cut/shaved a certain way; some sites do it for you.

  • nice video what do you all think of a para 1911 gi e

  • It's a life saving tool, don't skimp. It's not something to "cheap-out" on. Also, "When i get into that price range, ill just go buy something big", just does not make sense.

In any case, good luck with it, you'll need it.

  • "When i get into that price range, ill just go buy something big."

not a great statement to make on a gun review.

  • @AndyJackson1776 i dont know why your the highest rated. theres more to what he said than just that. if your going to quote someone, quote them for what they say, dont change it and take it out of context. he was basically saying he himself would not pay 1500-2000 for a handgun, cept for the fn because it was a "special pistol". why buy a 1500 .45acp, you pay for the name. he also tells about how the expensive guns have failures too. if anything its a great statement, great review.

  • You FAILED at your purchase of a 1911. Taurus would be the absolute last on my list. I understand not everyone can get a Wilson or Les Baer. However, for a little more money, you could have a Springfield. Which is WAY better.

  • I disagree, first you stat "if you can't get a Wilson or Les Baer" those guns are out of the range for pretty much the vast majority of people or like most peopel they dont want to fork out that much on a pistol, even Kimbers are a little high for most. I own two Kimbers and have shot a Taurus as well as Springfield 1911, and I see nothing wrong with the Taurus, its an amazingly good deal for a 1911.

  • I don't care how inexpensive Taurus auto's are, I would never make the purchase. What I'm saying is, for $200.00 more, he could have purchased a Springfield 1911, with a clear proven track record. He even said, "a good one is going to cost you the price of a really nice rifle". Which doesn't make sense anyway. Your either in the market for a pistol or a rifle.

  • @sheba106 sheba, you don't know shit.. i have had many springfield and most of them did not function half as good as the taurus 1911.. don't get me wrong.. some taurus are pretty crappy too.. but not this one.. i have first hand knowledge. in as to springfield, other than super tuned and TRP i have.. every single one jammed like a mother until i have done some work on them.. specially the GI model and the loaded as well.

  • @dogbutter99 ; I don't know shit? Are you twelve years old dude? That comment just shows your lack of knowledge. As an armorer for 23 years, yes I know "shit". Far more than you'll ever fit in your brain. In 23 years, I've fixed more broken Taurus firearm, then any other manufacturer. Stop limp wristing your Springfield Mary and it won't "jam". My Springfields(XD's and 1911's) have been THE most reliable weapons I've owned in 30 years. So, in your case, it's the shooter, not the weapon

  • You can also get an STI Spartan for around $600 which is very high quality!

  • sig sauer gsr revolution

  • @sheba106 Actually, Taurus has gotten some awesome reviews on their 1911, you can't really mess up a 1911. The 1911 is by far Taurus' best firearm.

  • @DRCsyntax Something you could take into the bush and trust your life to?

  • @DRCsyntax don't you know that seba106 knows everything and more than anyone else in the world? never mind all the positive review by professional writers.. he has been working as armorer for 23 years. uh huh...

  • @sheba106

"Not everyone can afford a Wilson or a Les Baer." No, damn near NO ONE can afford them. Just like the "custom" Kimber$ that function just as well as a bottom of the barrel Springfield 1911.

Why is Taurus last on your list? Because it's made in Brazil?

Springfield's 1911's are forged by IMBEL in Brazil, just the same as Taurus' frames are. American bull, Brazilian bull, you're gonna find the same guts.

And anyway. I would have recommended a FNP45 to the poster. $600 average.

  • poop

  • colt 1911. stainless steel. nothing else

  • Shoot the cat! LOL!

  • I'm not a Taurus fan, but I am thinking about getting a 1911 for concealed carry. I'm really cheap though, so that has been my one major deterrent. Plus, I prefer rifles, so when given the choice, I'm more likely to go for one of them.

  • nice bra!

  • nice bra on the door dude. is that your moms? HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • haha thAT CAT

  • any updates or did you trade it already? hah

  • I agree... update!!!

  • love taurus can u keep us updated with the gun and how it performs.... im thinking of purchasing one .. thanks

  • LOL @ 2:09

  • good gun in good video i
