You don't "work on" the fruit of the Spirit, young lady. If you have the Spirit, you just get out of His way, and quit trying to micro-manage the gifts you've been given.
Love doesn't mean acceptance. Christ also got irritated and annoyed. You know that you can see this in the New Testament (also in Paul, etc.)
@blardosplats of course you have those gifts naturally.! but what you dont use, you lose.. If I dont practice patience like I have been, I sure will just keep digging myself deeper and deeper..
God Himself only has so much patience. You know that if you've read more than one verse in the Bible at a time.
You remind me of a poster I saw once where whatever character was saying, "I want patience and I want it NOW!"
Oh, and Jesus never said you had to love every butthead that comes down the pike. He was talking to believers and He said that they (we) should love one another. "They" will know us by how we love one another.
I can relate to this sister continue to pray. Fasting helps too I've been asking the LORD to remove things that are not of him and give me some fruit of the spirit. Kinda funny your talking about this lol It isn't easy so please keep me in prayer and I will definately do the same for you : D
