Yeah that works too, but if u record it nto audacity, you can make it louder and quiter and other stuff

Another good lesson. Though I'm still trying to find the best ways to rexord with my microphone (a Sony ECM-MS907, which I pretty much got for free)

Also, any tips for recovering your throat from a very bad flu? The ammount of coughing has made it very bad, and I can barely do the even higher pitched voices that I can attempt (well, can still do some high pitched voices, but nothing too high without it aching from the coughing)

Just drink water and eat fruit and rest your voice for a full recovery.

In terms on easing the pain, something that works for me is turmeric (orange powder), and some hot milk and brown sugar.

It soothes your throat A LOT. I've also heard that hot water, lemon, and honey work.

Anyways, if you push yourself too much, you might be in deeper trouble than before. Oh, and Halls are you friend =)

I don't trust USB microphones. It messed up my recording and disabled mic sounds on my computer. Had to reload the whole thing and I've never touched one since.

The program of choice I use is goldwave when it comes to recording lines for people. And yes, logitech is the best way to go when it comes to the equipment.
