This tin mine is about 2.5 miles NW of Penzance. I found it by accident down an unclassified road which ends in a track. it is not far from the Prehistoric sites of Lanyon Quoit, Men-An-Tol & the Bosiliack Entrance grave.
@leslewisJNR Its called Bottallack and is between St Just and Pendeen. If you are interested in going message me and I can give you a more detailed route. I have been twice this year and going again before the end of 2011. Its an awesome place to visit to think that all ages worked there both underground and overground in this sort of weather working with Arsenic.
Was there yesterday 10th august....the weather was the same...lol
