Wow, one of my all time favorite wrestling promos! I remember repeating the "Your playing mindgames with the master, and your winning!" line for months after this promo. Thank God we have Yutube to keep these memories alive!

what amazes me about Mick Foley promos is how well he puts his opponents over to be baddasses so when he beats them or loses to them it means something. If he overcomes the baddass it doesn't hurt him... if he wins he overcame the odds. Foley made Sandman out to be a wrestling god in this promo.

Boy, these were some hell promos. Why doesn't anybody cut anything cerebral? Instead, we get mike-morons like Orton and Batista. Give those guys managers or something. You know, the action is still great, but we need some better work on the mike.

There's an interview with the Sandman,on you tube,where he's cracking up as he discusses how the concussion resulted in him forgetting the script,how he kicked out when he was supposed to get pinned,causing Cactus to get pissed and hit him with a couple more stiff chair shots than were planned.

It was a brutal match. Cactus bludgeons Sandman with a very heavy cast-iron frying pan early in the match. Sandman receives a concussion but continues to wrestle the match. Cactus eventually scores the pinfall after a series of double-arm DDTs on the concrete. Sandman does not answer the ten count so Cactus wins the deathmatch. I would upload it but its terrible quality from an old VHS.

@ESWEfounder also, Cactus hit him so hard at the beginning of the match that he didn't even remember the match yet still kept kicking out through all that!...... if thats not extreme i don't know what is....
