  • You are AMAZING! I play a lot of that metis style too apparently. I mean the more rhythmic asmpect you spoke of. I have been trained as a bluegrass fiddler, but I always seemed to find myself adding more of the rhythm like the Metis. I just never knew it was actually called something else. And I'm gonna try that Metis tuning now too.

  • I just got home from the John Arcand Fiddle Festival in Saskatchewan and LOVED every minute of the Metis style. I'm catching on to the chording style...slowly! And I'm determined to learn the footwork! Thanks for sharing this!!!!
